I guess they don''t teach fact-checking at journalism schools the way they used to. This photo was published in The Boston Globe in 1932 and in The Cape Cod Compass in 1987, and I believe in other publications as well. Sorry to burst the bubble. Hey, CBS, I think you can afford a few fact checkers in the news division?

As a child I was backward and shy. I hated school. I hated that teachers through the years didn''t want to be bothered to help with the poor and shy child I was. So being held back grades didn''t help because I still didn''t learn much the second time around either. So I was just past on to the next grade to the next. Until I quit school as soon as I was of age to do so. I taught myself through the years to learn at my own speed. Now I love to read about History ! It''s so much more interesting when you can just read about it and enjoy it. Without worrying about test or grades. This was a very interesting write up. And what a great picture. Makes you want to read more !!!

Utterly perfect - beautifully restored too.

Just looking at the picture; I feel drawn back in time.

Not to mention this article, which was a terrific read -- thank you MUCH.
