Posted by USBrit : How many ILLegals compared to legal immigrants are actually involved in crime?

I don%u2019t have the statistics, but I%u2019m sure that the number of illegal aliens involved in crime and gangs is FAR above zero. It is not just a matter of crime. The limited resources available in this state for things like after-school programs are stretched even thinner by paying for the illegal aliens that are here. Hospital emergency rooms are overburdened by illegal aliens that use them for primary health care, for which they have no insurance for money to pay. Schools are overcrowded. Our roads are overcrowded by unlicensed uninsured illegal aliens. Yes, most of them are here to work, and they are willing to work, often very hard, for wages below established minimums, which in turn drives down prevailing wages.

schoolmast1,
All you know to do is blame guns.
This takes the responsibility away from the bad person who uses a gun illegally to harm people and places it on an inanimate object.
No wonder so many criminals don''t feel any responsibility for their own actions!
After all, it''s the guns fault.
Guns can control people''s minds.

Blaming guns for suicides and murders does not and will never address the reasons why people who kill themselves and others have no respect for their own lives and the lives of their victims.
If people had more respect for themselves and for life, there would be fewer suicides and homicides!

USBrit, You can make anything. John Browning made a "Lever Action" Rifle into a Machinegun.

Billorights I know the May 1986, I''m a former Class 3 Machinegun Dealer. My H&K G3 was "Grand Fathered" in because I applied to make it the same month. I know the law. (It was a "Voice Vote")

BillORights - I lived in SoCal until my kid was old enough to get into the school system, then moved to GA and now OH. How many ILLegals compared to legal immigrants are actually involved in crime? In GA, I lived in an area where my kids 1st Grade class was 54% Hispanic. I''m sure there were some illegals, but most of the trouble in town was caused by drunk rednecks and rich white kids; the Hispanics were there to work only.

"..when something as terrible as Columbine''s tragedy occurs -- politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that continue to erode away our personal and private liberties.
We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors.
No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre.
The real villain lies within our own hearts."
