If you gauge this craziness by levels of crime, violent crime in particular and incarceration rates - the insanity is not only coming from the criminals but from our government which hasn''t a clue, and out society at large which feeds this pathological illness not found on this scale in any other developed nation.

When they catch this guy, I wouldn''t be surprised to hear that he has been involved in violent crime his entire life and well known to police. Our justice system puts every law abiding citizen at the mercy of any passing criminal, and there are millions of them just walking around.

Also, the murderer that committed this act deserves a swift trial and if found guilty, swift execution. But our stupid justice system is do bogged down with lawyers BS and a corrupt system, that justice is almost non-existent and almost never fair to the victims or their families.

Most street killings are committed with illegal or stolen guns. Owning a firearm with a proper background check and liscensing process is every American''s right. Once the legal requirements are met people are Free to own guns. If stricter requirements are passed fine but don''t interferring with law biding people''s rights.

I believe the NRA does a lot of good for the right of the US citizens. If you feel good about giving up your rights so be it, move to Iran. If not get an education about he NRA before you pop off.

I would never say her problem was she did not have a gun and should have. The problem is there is too much violence. Guns are sometimes used in this violence. How do we stop the violence greybeard?

I do not know why you are against gunowners. If you do nothing wrong then you have nothing to fear from legal gunowners. I fought for the right of choice so i have a right to my opinion and the right to bear arms. I do not hunt as i do not want to hurt animals or people. However with all the crazy people running loose in the world, i feel it is necessary to own and carry a concealed weapon. The streets are no longer safe for law abiding citizens. I don''t have alll the answers to fix the problems with society, but everywhere they banned guns the crime rate went up, everywhere they passed he right to carry the crimes went down, after a period of adjustment by the criminals, may they rest in peace.

By the way, I would never recommend that a person carry a weapon unless they are trained and qualified. And, I strongly support a person''s right to do so if they are trained and qualified and they choose to do so.
