Really? It''''s going up to $4 a gallon?

(Sorry - a little sarcasm of Bush''''s ignorance.)

If you actually watched video of the comment, Bush was being sarcastic about unnamed "experts" claiming gas would be $4.

Just remember folks, you WILL be responsible for the taxes on that income in 2009 when you file your 2008 taxes. Isn''''''''t our government wonderful...

Lets see, a 39 cent postage cost for each of 130,000,000 households = $50,700,000 in stamps to remind people that they are going to get a check which will cost another $50,700,000 to deliver?

I guess since they collect the postage, it doesn''t matter.

Yeah, isn''t it great?

They borrow money from us, to give it back to us, then we have to pay taxes on it when we get it, and then we have to pay the loan back with interest.

And this is stimulating the economy?

PLEASE DON''T STIMULATE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!

It is amazing how our Congress can put aside their differences and come together to give Mr. & Mrs. America a rebate of our income taxes that we paid in.

It is commendable, none the less. Hillary probably voted against it as she was counting on it for more pork projects for NY.

92% of us run our homes the same way as our government. Our wants are greater than our needs, so we borrow & spend - spend and borrow, rob, cheat & steal and than complain that Our Government is in debt doing the same thing. We just don''t get it! We can do without the booze, cigarettes, etc. If we try it we may even like it an pocket the cash to pay off our debt. Than we can say do as we do not as we say.

Remember that we have a greater mission. It is called the Global Warming Agenda. It is imperative that we save Our Planet at all cost. Just learn to do with less or do without.

Maybe congress can get their act together. Stop taking the illegal contributions from the Oil & Energy Conglomerates and use those record profits, these outlaws get during the times of hardships we the people & our country have been gone through.

Desert Storm, Terrorist Attacks of 911, Afghan & Iraq Confrontations, Katrina, Salomis or is it Sanomis, Flooding, etc. Economic Slowdowns, Enron, Wall Street & Mutual Fund rip offs. Then with the Media & Press cooperation laugh at how easy it has been.

We, the people, should be getting our money''s worth from this liberal congress.
