- Yes it has. And I almost mucked it up, by kidding around,,and not fully explaining myself,,again I see humor,,where some may not.

I am the same way. You have to look for the humor, where ever it may be.
My hat''s off to you slim. Keep up the good work.

- It has been a good conversation hasn''''t it? I haven''''t seen one single insult for more than 30 minutes or so. That has to be a record of some kind on this board.

- This is a simple song about feeling
You probably heard the story about the cog in the wheel
It''s a little piecemeal
but I wrote it in a Nashville motel
And you never can tell
When the feeling''s gonna hit right smack in the belly
You write so fast you forget about the spellin''
When it''s all in the tellin''
you forget about the technical side

- Cheaper dollar means more exports and more visitors from other countries. Always two sides to everything.
Also, means several of my friends just got laid off. - Reply to this comment

%u201CFrom future generations. Incidently,,,thats how we defeated the Russians (during the cold war),,,when they could not keep pace with our military spending,,,when they were at war,,and we were not.
Now the shoe is on the other foot, as it were.%u201D
Much of the money that we don''t have to spend on the military, but are anyway, is coming from China. Yep, we borrow money from the people we see as potential adversaries to spend on weapon systems to protect us from the people we are borrowing money from. I guess that is one way to guarantee national security, they wont attack us, we owe them too much money.
But, all that debt is killing the dollar so, not only are we less secure - Reply to this comment

- The Ottoman Empire picked the wrong side to ally with during WWI and it cost them big time. They again picked the wrong side during WWII perhaps hoping to gain what they had lost. Once that failed they most likely see the West as a force never to be trusted again. After 60 years of that b**lshit, here we are.

- With the Otterman Empire in place, I don''''t think it would be worse than what we have now.

But the Ottomans would, if they weren''t beat back in the 1st world war. But that''s only speculation on my part.
