This tainted meat should be fed to all those who vote republican since they support those that pollute the air we breathe, the water we drink and are willing to die so we can have gas 3 cents cheaper, I take the last part back because they sent other idiots to die for that. These are people who don''t respect the environment, animals, international law, local law etc.... they think they can go around destroying cultures, stealing, corrupting governments in order to make a buck, etc...after they do this they go to church to say I''m sorry to god, and forget all about it.

It makes me sick thinking about animals being abused. Those poor cows. This reminds me of China. I read where they were shoving pipes down pigs throats and pouring sewage water down them to fatten them up before slaughter. There are some sick people in this world.

welcome to the conservative republican USDA and FDA

in fact any other government agency that is supposed

to actually protect the public, remember FEMA, for

some reason it worked under clinton; but it is a joke under the conservative administration

conservatives are anti american criminals

If you would ever walk thru any meat packing facility, you would be shocked beyond belief. I can guarantee this company is not the only one doing this. I have seen similar things going on in the Tyson plants here. I''m almost certain Tyson would get in trouble over this LONG before they will ever get in trouble over employing illegal aliens which they are so very well known for doing. If you dont want to support illegals, dont buy a *** thing with the Tyson name on it.

People:

This problem will go away if you just stop eating the dead flesh of slaughtered animals.

Not to mention you will be healthier and will grow to find yourself more at peace with your planet and yourself.

CBS Evening News article re recalled ground beef and animal abuse at a California Meat Company. Film clip showed a man with a hose squirting water down the nostrils of a live cow lying on the floor trying to drown it !!! Made me sick to my stomach to see such an inhumane horrible act on a poor dumb animal who can''t fight back. THIS ABUSE HAS TO STOP !!!

I seem to recall Jack in the Box was serving contaminated meat in the late 70''s or possibly early 80''s. Anyone else remember that?

This beef recall proves that someone has the guts to stop something that is illegal and not just turn their eyes the other way. We have a good system.

In 1906, President Theodore Roosevelt created a commission to inspect the conditions in meat packing houses after reading ''The Jungle'' by Upton Sinclair. The federal Meat Inspection Act became law and reformed the meat industry. Up to that point, only foreign meat sources would require inspection, while domestic meat went to market, contaminated and unchecked.

It''s pretty hard to miss when it''s the lead picture. It doesn''t matter now, because CBS listened!

Become a vegetarian for the same reason Albert Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci, Mark Twain, Thomas Edison, and many, many more became vegetarians (http://www.soystache.com/famousaz.htm): Killing animals for food is cruel, no matter how you do it. In this day and age, it is also totally unnecessary and unhealthy. The vast majority of Americans need less food, not more, so give up cruelty AND unecessary fat, cholesterol, carcinogens, and Mad Cow disease. Eating meat also lays waste to our ocean life, rivers and streams, and destroys rain forests world wide (for cattle pastures). For those who foolishly believe that meat is necessary for strength, consider the most dominant track and field athlete in history, Edwin Moses, who won every single race he entered for 10 years, including Olymic gold medals. Edwin Moses was and is a vegetarian. And Carl Lewis, who for years was the world''s fastest man, was a vegan (no meat, no fish, no dairy) when training. Meat is simply not necessary, not healthy and is inherently cruel. I am a vegetarian because it is better for me, better for the animals, and better for the environment. Stop kidding yourselves that the animals you eat were not tortured, and that the FDA is making sure that they are safe for you and your children.

That California meat packing company has learned its lesson: It''s off to China, I go, I go. Oh, it''s off to China I go, HURRAY! HURRAY! No more FDA, HURRAY!

Any industry such as meat processing that routinely hires illegal workers will routinely break the law in all other matters and skirt the law as much as possible.

They will mistreat animals and their workers and the country itself, because at the heart of it all they are greedy scum looking to max out profits any way they can. I quit eating red meat for that very reason a number of years ago.

No one, absolutely no one, can present a coherent argument as to how aborting human beings on demand is not worse, infinitely worse, than spraying water in a sick bovines face.

Sembrader"

How is abortion of a mass of tissue and bone that never saw the light of day worse? If you can remember your 9 month stint in the womb then you have a point, but since you and no one else can, then the fetus knows and remembers nothing, and in the case of abortion- never saw the light of day or experienced anything while alive.

We have too many mouths to feed on this planet as it is, its BECAUSE of that that these cows even need to be mass produced in the first place to provide the food!

Abortion takes care of the little unwanted ''problem'' for the parents who obviously DONT want the thing, so why would anyone in their right mind FORCE unwed, unprepared, immature, unwilling people to allow an unwanted burden of an accidental pregnancy to come to term, where the kid will either be abandoned or grow up in a broken home raised by parents who never wated it and resent it, and then dump the thing on US to raise???
Abortion on demand should ALWAYS be legal, and unless you are willing to stand by a clinic and physically adopt and pay for EVERY baby, then SHUT UP and let people make their own decisions on what they do with THEIR bodies.

The statement "Every creature deserves to be treated with respect" is very interesting in that many who mouth that platitude have no problem with the ultimate disrespect toward living, yet unborn human beings that is abortion on demand.

No one, absolutely no one, can present a coherent argument as to how aborting human beings on demand is not worse, infinitely worse, than spraying water in a sick bovine''s face.

No one. Not even you, my disagreeing friend.

Our nation has lost its ever-loving mind.
