How come an overwhelmingly large majority of defensive gun uses(DGU''s) result in no shots being fired and no one being harmed?
There are hundreds of DGU''s every single day in America but we never hear about them since they are rarely reported to police and rarely does anyone get shot. It''s not news when someone uses a gun to save lives, but it is always news when someone uses a gun illegally to harm others.

Yep....Those cars are designed, engineered, built, and sold for the specific purpose of killing...
All of us out here who are peacefully driving them up and down the streets are misusing them....We gotta stop using them for purposes they ain''t designed for.

What about the 8 people who were killed by being run down by a car at an illegal drag race.
Do we blame the cars?
Those evil "assault vehicles" cause more deaths than gunshots do and just imagine how many would have been killed if the driver had a truck or SUV instead.
Only the police, EMT''''s, and firefighters should be allowed to use automobiles because they are better trained to use them, anyone with me?

Yeah, I agree. The auto is a big weapon. We need more mass transit to end D*ic*k Cheney and his crone''s way of life. It''s time for a new dawn.

Mr. Thompson is running a profitable business, a success story here in America. Pat Robertson''s son praised on his faux news service, a former school teacher who had struggled financially but turned to tithing, prayer and was inspired to start a Karaoke business which outstripped the useless income of his being an educator. Praise for this man from the Robertson corporation.

The right wing business idolators who have been pounding the message for decades have made it clear. It''s the bottom line. Whatever it takes to get rich is how success is measured in the american right wing.

Now go pray and shop.

Guns did not protect the students at VA Tech or NIU.
Posted by alphaa10

That''s because Va Tech and NIU are "GUN FREE ZONES" where good citizens can''t have them but killers couldn''t care less.
