Typical know nothing attack .... FOOL?

Actually there is no need to shoot chickens ... they were raised & beheaded on a chopping block with a hatchet ...

You seem to trivialize the fact that this country was founded and defended by weapons .. and a fundamental Constitutional right to bear arms ... if you dont agree then do a little research ...

As for your local market ... the food you buy from there is tainted with pesticides, hormones, genentically altered seeds etc .. all carcenogens ...

You seem hypocritical ... people needs cars .. cars are modified to drag race .. but the foolish, irresponsible ones CHOOSE to do it ILLEGALLY on a PUBLIC HIGHWAY @ 4 am .. putting innocent irresponsible lookie loos in danger ..

Kinda like purchasing a gun legally , then using it to commit a crime ...

I am not feeling your point?

Again, your position reiterated that stupidity has been around ....... for your entire life anyway ...

Every year tens of thousands are killed in car crashes.
If people didn''''t have these dangerous assault vehicles then all these lives would be saved!
We must protect our children by banning automobiles now!!!

I know subtle distinctions are not your strong suit, but cars have a legitimate purpose other than to kill. Also, it''s much harder, though not impossible, to use a car to kill a specific person AND to get away with it, which is why not many people try it.

So, your opposition to gun control of any kind, without any regard for the people who will die for your personal obsession with guns, bears no resemblance whatsoever to society''s use of automobiles. You really are grasping at straws to make that comparison. I realize it''s all you got, but do you really thing anyone is buying it?

"In any case, there''''''''s a lot of stupid going on. People need cars to get around. People don''''''''t need guns. That''''''''s pretty clear - unless you''''''''re stupid".

I wonder what your ancestry is? Do you think that ANYONE in your family used a gun to maybe shoot game? Or how about the guns that allow you to get on this media and make a myopic statement like yours?

The planet survived without cars for centuries ... mankind has had weapons way before vehicles ..

Stupidity? now thats been around for ions ...

LOL. Ok. When was the last time you went out and shot a chicken? People don''t need guns. Go to your grocery store, fool.

Yes, the planet has survived without cars for centuries. However, try getting a job with no transportation. Unless you''re in a big city, it''s pretty tough. Cars are necessary for most people.

Then again, if you''re doing something stupid like drag racing, Darwin just selects you out of the gene pool, as was the case here.

Yes, it is a tradgey, and, another legal issue that some here may have not considered is the fact that any adults killed in this accident (if there were any), may have made their life insurance policies invalid, considering that they were killed while being a part of an illegal activity - there is a good chance, if they had a $100,000 life insurance policy, for example, that the company will only allow for a "burial" amount of $5,000 or so - that is going to be a another shock to those who have already lost so much...

If any question this, it is a fact that most insurance policies state that their coverage is invalid if the claim (for a person''s death, in this case) is the result of participation (onlookers included) in any illegal activity.

Some might think this is something that can be evaded, but, in the case of death certificates, hospital statements and police accident reports, this is something that insurance companies will carefully examine to determine why a person was killed in the middle of the night while standing on a roadway, whether they be a participant or spectator in an illegal street racing.

Again, this is a tragedy, but, this is likely to be compounded in the days to come, when family members are notified that they will receive little or no life insurance monies in order to bury someone killed in this accident, because of the circumstances that lead to the person''s death.

Isn''t it irresponsible to take your kids to something so dangerous? I mean if you want to play russian roulette, fine - go for it. But don''t take your kids!!

The real victim here is the driver of that sedan that hit them. He should have had his lights on, and if he couldn''t see what he was driving into he should have slowed way down if not stopped altogether. But he / she has to live with this the rest of their lives - all because of the irresponsible behavior of some alleged "adults".

I feel bad for these people, but at the very least they could pick a spot away from civilization as not to destroy peoples peace at 3 am and a place that''s not on a blind corner!duh. When I was younger we raced plenty,we blocked both ends of the road for safty, there has always been illegal racing (horses, bikes, cars) and always will be, I still race a 72 ford 460 BB, as for "IRLIBERAL", I don''t need this car any more than I need all 31 firearms that I own, but they are a hobby as the car is and both are just as dangerous with an idiot in control

Tragic and sad -- why? Aside from the obvious pain the families will suffer, this was AVOIDABLE. These folks were participating in an ILLEGAL activity at 3:00 a.m. on a highway in the middle of nowhere.

Can''t blame this on the driver of the white Crown Vic. How could he (she?) have possibly known or expected there would be a crowd of people LITERALLY standing in the middle of the highway??!!!

Sad, pointless, unnecessary tragedy. Hopefully, some of these "race" fans will stay home from now on.

compassion for the families of the people who died in an auto accident.

Not many people get to die doing what they love to do.
These victims loved to watch and race cars and they died doing it.
It''s not my fault they didn''t have a safer place to do it.
