Schoollord (again) says "You are all obviously very unaware of the facts of gun violence...or you know but you are in denial. Either way GUNS and your claims SUCK!~"

I haven''t been keeping count, but I think that''s about strike-12 for you, Schoollord, and you haven''t made contact yet. Why don''t you go have seat on the bench, and maybe your team will get back to the bottom of the lineup after a few more innings.

"Why are we giving this didactic dipstick a soapbox?" remrafdn
---------
We need to give this woman a soapbox, because she is one of the anti-freedom rabble-rousers we have to keep track of. Since her own words convict her, let her keep posting.

Schoollord says - So I post ROCK SOLID evidence against guns and that''''s the best you got to prove me wrong? "LOL" Gun NUTZ are not too bright!~

Your goal of disarming American citizens would have no affect on the behavior of criminals or the mentally ill, with the one exception that they may be emboldened with the knowledge that their intended victims have one less means of defense.

If you want to effectively reduce crime, start by enforcing the laws that we have, and keep criminals behind bars where they belong.

If you think that our Constitution provides you with too many rights, you are free to leave at any time. Why don''t you move to the absolute safety of a GUN FREE ZONE?

Schoollord - You should crack open the window in your FEMA trailer before the fumes completely overwhelm you. They have already compromised your ability to reason.

Another statistical fantasy. What, you or someone you are quoting were able to interview every private gun-owner? Could never happen, of course.

The idea that you so strongly believe in statistics tells something about you.

If you wonder what I mean, ask a Statistician.

pitIful?

Geez, I would call it PITIFUL that you are more concerned over the odd mispelled word than the problem you are having with guns.

Seattle cops told us if a homeoer/renter shoots a crimmal in our home/apt. The cops will haul the one that shot the crimmel to jail. That means if a punk breaks in yer place ye can''t so much lay a paw on him/her. Ye can''t shot him/her. Ye be in jail in ye do. I was told this..We can''t bear arms for health reasons. So the cops are asres. We keep to our selves. The cops take 2 or more hours. FRI erasmus6 is Canadian.

"Armed Citizens who are willing to defend themselves.....think about it!!"

This is 1 area where I agree with the police: more guns will lead to more murders, more suicides, + more fatal accidents. They won''t make us safer.

In this case, since the shooter was on stage in plain sight, after he wounded the teacher, if 1 person in the front row was paying attention, had pulled out a gun shot him, then he wouldn''t have been able to kill anyone else (IF that person was a way better shot than cops who only hit their target 20% of the time). However, when shots are fired in public, pandemonium typically ensues. If several, people had guns, then they would not all have been paying close attention, they would not all have been looking in the same direction, the result could easily be: lots of people shooting at each other!

The fact of the matter is: if you have a gun in your home, you are more likely to be killed by that gun, or to kill your wife, g/f, kids, etc., then you are to use it to defend yourself. All information to the contrary is bogus cr@p promulgated by the NRA.

We ALREADY have too many guns in this country. To reduce the killing, the gun-nuts need to realize that a gun is the appropriate "defensive tool" in only the rarest of circumstances, and that it is their worst enemy most of the time. Wake up soon or this country is doomed.
