- WEll i saw this story and it brought back everything that my family has been dealing with. The VA put my father on so many meds that he was a walking ZOmbie!! Then he started drinking! And when we took him to a VA Center to get Help they turned him down! So now we are left to deal with it after they started something. He is a Veitnam Veteran and they should help us out that is way we pay taxes! We was told that the soldiers that are coming home now will get the care before he does! This is not right he has waited 30 some years to use the services that VA offers and now he can''t even get the help when he needs it, and they prescribe so much meds to a patient that their body cannot handle it!!
