- We need to remember that the state of mind of our returning soldiers is very important and their stability can sometimes hinge on the smallest things. Sometimes what we would consider to be small niceties can make the biggest difference.

- The VA keeps trying to prove to the troops that it care by changing it''s policies and bennies. Bureaucracy doesn''t have a heart. The person sitting on the other side of the desk talking to the wounded vet can''t just heartlessly and coldly ramble off new and improved policies. They need to be caring people that realize they are talking to a real person, and not just another medical folder.

Actually a new president will make the world feel better.
Ole GI Geroge has created more conflict than any one leader has---that would make the "normal" citizens pretty uncomfortable---and those Americans who have family in the armed forces, who have either lose a loved one--or have one return home maimed, probably are "unhappy".
