If someone walked into a university with grenades and a rocket launcher, would you make the same claim? "People kill people, guns dont kill people". Maybe we should arm every single citizen with an AK47, that would cut down violence, right? Think about it.

Guns are not the issue. Sure it is easy to kill with a gun but somebody who is bent on killing will kill with a broom handle, a frying pan, or a pencil. The problem is with the people. It seems to me these anger killings are becoming too common to be comfortable. They happen in schools, malls, and the work place. And now it happens monthly. Firearms can be banned but those who want them will get them and the problem is still there. Even in countries that don''t allow firearms steps have to be taken to ensure safty and peace. How about a fenced off campus that doesn''t allow free access?
