- Nutsie11 isn''t taking into consideration that campuses, malls, and office buildings are usually Gun-free zones. Unlike ones home where one can make a choice to have or not to have a weapon, these places do not allow you to have a weapon.
In malls, campus''s, and office buildings, the choice about your personal safety is made for you, by others. - Reply to this comment

- Even though I think Nutsie11 sounds a little bit Nutso, I do have to agree with him somewhat. The panic button might make you feel a little better but when a Nutsie walks into your office and starts hacking you up with a clever, you could tear the button off the wall and throw it at him after you push it but I don%u2019t think that%u2019s going to help you much. If Dr. Shinbach would have come through that door with his 9mm he would not have been pinned against the wall with that chair and he%u2019d still be 90 bucks richer with fewer cuts on him. Wake up people, sometime you have to take responsibility for your own safety. They cant be everywhere to save everyone.

- And once again, people are so overwhelmed by the fact that the unstable PEOPLE behind the weapon is so hard to fix, that they blame the weapon itself. It''s really sad that this woman died and another was injured, but whats worse is that it always becomes a self righteous moral battle for Pro and Anti Weapon people....Personally, I still hate guns, still hate sin, still hate irresponsiblity. But who do I control... ME! "I''m startin with the man in the mirror..." Can I start a Michael Jackson thread? that would get some people going...and maybe let this poor woman rest in peace. Who said "Be the change you wish to see in the world." ? So if you''re Pro-Guns, then be an example of being a responsible gun owner, if you''re Anti-Guns, then don''t own one. It''s really kinda simplistic, but how much hate would it take out of this world and how much precious energy would it save... just some thoughts...

- He''s got a temper too, and always gets mad at people if he thinks they get "off point" from the article at hand. Like this isn''t one big discussion that can go wherever it wants anyway. :)

Your grammar is appalling. The NRA should revoke your membership out of embarassment. - Reply to this comment
- Hey, Nutsie, Don''t go away mad, just go away.

- I am saddened by the comments regarding this good woman''''s death. Using her murder to make a partisan point - without regard for her or her family - is morally reprehensible. She was an honorable and caring woman who deserved neither her horrible death nor your callous exploitation.

Sorry, but that''s what ALWAYS happens on these threads any time there is a murder of any kind. The political debate begins immediately. Democrats scream "take the guns away", Republicans scream "we need more guns". Democrats try to condescend to republicans and boost their self perceived intellectual superiority. Republicans try to condescend to democrats and boost their self perceived superior morality, and.....on and on and on.
I''m sorry she''s dead too. - Reply to this comment
