Hahahaha, are you telling me that you just noticed that? You actually thought that it was just our posts? You obviously are not very observant because it has been doing that for many months. - Reply to this comment

Well lookie me - my posts ALSO use a quote mark instead of an apostrophe. What''s up with that, CBS???
it''s her''s Mike''s the country''s

Even stranger

- Has anybody noticed that erasemouse and schoolbird both use quote marks in place of apostrophes? Could be coincidence, could mean something. One blogger, two different screen names? *lawl*
pardon moi, dear Madam rascalmoose, shouldn''t have ***-u-med you are a sir.
Strangely enough, the term "common sense" has been a pet peeve of mine since one of my college professors proved that it is a non-phrase. Define common. Define sense. Read Thomas Paine''s book to find the origin of the phrase, which he coined and defines as a cause espoused by a group of people.
Having written that, I have found that people whose facts and sources are misrepresented many times employ the phrase "common sense" when unable to reply logically.
So since this is about GUN CONTROL -- "common sense" would not explain one''s strident anger toward America and its flaws. Why do you even care? You have a lovely Queen and many fine countrymen. Do you belong to an anti-America faction? Are you fearful that our prez will bring the wrath of the middle east into your homeland? News report: they hate you as much as they hate us.
Just trying to understand your, shall we say, vitriol towards us down-home folks. - Reply to this comment

I find it useless to try and give a gun lover any data at all. It is a waste of time because they don''t read it. I now try to use the COMMON SENSE approach which is just as useless because there ain''t any gun lover that has any common sense!:) - Reply to this comment

"*here is a tip...learn spanish..they love to take over like a virus..before you know it you would be knee deep in gangs, grafitti, garbage and overwhelemed welfare system.."
Ahh yes, another American racist.
Like I said we really don''t have the same problem as you Americans for letting in immigrants. If they come in illegally and are caught the are returned. Your problem is when they get in you are too lazy to find them and return them. - Reply to this comment

Hmmm, everybody is innocent until proven guilty, are they not? And do you not have a trial to prove that? The fact that all the bones were found scattered throughout his property and a number of other reasons should be more than enough to accuse him of murder. Seems to me they didn''t have any DNA on the Peterson case in the U.S. did they? Are you saying that they can''t arrest a person without DNA? They did it for YEARS.
"funny you said that..after 8 years under an "idiot"..canada is still this country''''s bi tch..you guys are like an arse tick that lives off a leviathan.."
Are you kidding me? We aren''t living of you so much as you are living off us. Where do you get most of your lumber from? Who do you think is supplying you with water?
AND how many trillions of dollars are you in debt with China and Japan for??? - Reply to this comment

"Please do not judge my country by what yours does or doesn''''''''t do." posted by erasmus6
What I meant by this statement is I don''t like it when someone thinks because they are a certain way that others are that way too.
For instance, I had a neighbor that constantly told what she called, "white lies". She figured because she did it that everybody did it. She was wrong. Lying is lying and I don''t.
Do not assume that because your country has certain problems that my country also has those problems.
I have read many times on this site and other sources as well that Americans know little about their own country and some can''t even find it on a map. If this is true then how the hell could you possibly know anything about mine!! - Reply to this comment
- "This is exactly what you are doing." posted by ronin10
No it isn''t. Some of you Americans just talk to hear yourselves. When you state something it isn''t because you actually have researched it and know it to be fact. You just say whatever, even if it isn''t true.
When I say something I know it to be fact. I do research it plus I get it from this site and all the posts. I also have relatives in the states.
"those *** king canadians are so fu cking lazy that they would welcome anybody who would want to work.." posted by libsrweak
Now this statement is an absolute lie.
The U.S. is the one that has a problem with immigrants coming and taking their jobs and it IS because you have too many lazy people and employers need to hire immigrants to do the jobs. - Reply to this comment

Well, to me it is paradise. Especially when I see what your country is like.:)
If you are looking at Toronto then I can see it may not look it. But the rest of Canada is great!
"do cadadiian cross the border by the 1000''''s to by products here cloths cars and cigarettes even sell some back home????"
Canadians stopped going across the border so much for awhile but now that our dollar is worth more they have started again. About buying stuff there and then selling it here, I don''t know. Years ago I heard that some people would buy cigarettes and then sell some.
About the pig farmer, as far as I know there has been no confession. - Reply to this comment
