Waterboarding creates only a temporary phsychological effect. It causes no permanent damage, and leaves those interrogated in full command of every mental and physical faculty and skill.
Of course, it is unpleasant. So, is serving 2-5 for car theft. That is why most of us don''''''''t commit crimes.
Some people are so evil that we have to resort to a stronger stimulus to break through the barrier of hate and resolve that they have ercted against us.

If this isn''t the most IGNORANT post I''ve ever read I don''t know what is. Talk to a Veteran who has been a POW and ask him about that! Jeeeezzzzz it''s getting so I can''t talk to you Bush Cultist without wanting to wash my hands!! When it''s listed in the Army Field Manual as TORTURE it''s TORTURE people. That''s what OUR fathers and their fathers before them have went to defend our freedom by. Those who believe someone who NEVER put on a Uniform before you believe them, that''s fine but to say something like this??? UGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!! You are worse than SLIME!!

Bush has no more made the decisions that direct this country than I have. He has been a puppet of the far-right and special interests from the get-go. And you, Mr Cheney, are a meglomaniac that doesn''''t give 2 cents for this country. History will write the final chapter and neither of you will fare well.

This isn''t about the "Other" side of this thing and I''ve studied history my entire adult life. Rest assured it will get MUCH worse for Bush and Cheney. Things that are going on record right now will be used to define the history of this period. People will look back at the 932 LIES told by Bush EXACTLY like they look back on the LIES told by Joe McCarthy. They will look at the actions of a man who took over a country who''s government had a balanced budget, surplus and gave him 80% support when he went after the guys who attacked us. They will then see how they squandered that spent Trillions we do not have and STILL haven''t caught those who attacked us. They are far more interested in getting control of the Oil Fields so they can pump oil on THEIR terms. It''s a disgusting chapter in our Nations history but we''re about to change all that! We''re on the verge of putting our votes where our mouth has always been. Making HISTORY! That in itself will cast an UGLY shaddow over Bush.

People we had better change direction and we''d better do it soon. You can''t invade a nation for no other reason than because the dictator tortures people, then turn around and have someone the world conciders next to Hitler defending it. It''s not going to be long before we see the world uniting against us. The thoughts of Cheney having his finger on the bottom scares most people in the world as near if not worse than Bin Laden. At least we can make strides to keep it away from Bin Laden. Cheney? That''s an entirely different story. This guy could and WOULD form another Gestapo people. Sieg Heil Bush!!

Our President is a weak and foolish man who has degraded the office and who has elevated the worthless. His underlings are hand-picked to aid and abet his moronic goals. May he rot in hell when he meets his actual maker, SATAN.

You know I grew up during Nixins rieghn but never saw such absolute contempt for the office of president and vice president {not that I don''t agree} our leader has brought us to a place we have not been since the civil war but there are no states againts hin just the vast majority of the public. You can only have contempt for folks that wage war like a table board game, God help us were lost.....

Dear Mr. Cheney: If it weren''''t for your pre 9/11 plan for the Iraq Oil War, we wouldn''''t be having this conversation. I still think it''''s a good idea for you to try waterboarding and then we''''ll get your REAL opinion later...ok???

I continue to have a sneaking suspicion that waterboarding Cheney would get to the truth about 9/11...

Not only does DickCheney adore his waterboarding, he outsourced it to his Halliburton and Blackwater mercenaries - no blood on HIS hands....

Hey - Cheney says Waterboarding "Is A Good Thing" so "It must be Good"!

I say Waterboarding for everybody - Congress, The Senate and both Bush and Cheney and their entire cabinet - even bring back Rumsfeld and Powell to join the party - oh, and don''t forget that clown who got fired from the World Bank. Then we will find out the truth!
