Kirkwood, Mo is really a cool area (suburb of St.Louis). There are a lot of old restored Victorian homes, with well manicured lawns, cool old shops downtown. The shooter lived in Meaham Park, a mostly black area of Kirkwood. The City people are really particular about keeping appearances just so. If Mr Thornton was given numerous citations because he didn''t meet their expectations, they should have worked with him, some how. This is such a tragic incident.
