I try to THINK of others and share. I have been dressed down..I was born homeless, been homelesss many times..I FEEL so bad for the folks who think the gov will be there. Some like me have no kin that can help, mum put me out in the cold years ago. Who will help them when they truly need it.. don''t look at bush he ain''t a man of honor..for them it is hell. Yer have to go on..it pisses me that we care more about that bloody illegal war than our people here..I don''t so much as have a dollar to give afther every thing is paid. I can say a prayer.I know prayer won''t help them in times like this..Dad taught me before I went in foster homes his values..I hope the aid they need gets there..America first..We have homeless here..We have needs here at home..This is lent. I give up some thing every lent. I do this for Jesus. will they be helpped..mandylou thank ye..do hope ye have a child ye love..I have my platforms that I address,I did overcome the child abused,am not for war..yer son is in a better place..

I have read some of the comments that were made earlier about God, Polotics and Wal-Mart. How rediculous. As someone who lives in Tennessee it is devestating to wath what our fellow neighbors went through that night. It is on the news on every channel sometimes 4 0r 5 times a day and we watch to see if maybe they found someone ALIVE! Somehow by the grace of God (yes God) my family was spared that night. I have friends who have loved ones who weren''t that lucky. The bottom line is that until you are sitting there at midnight watching Lelan Stadum telling you to go find somewhere safe right now you are not going to know the fear of a tornado. Not knowing if your family is going to be okay in 15 minutes after it passes. Trying to think of the best place in your own home to hide and keep your children from harm. Making a split second decision when the power does go out and all you hear is intense wind ''are we in the right place''. I hope nobody ever has to go through that. These poeple that did suffer the devestation are just that people. Humans showing compassion for other humans is what these people need right now.

MichelleM99,

I too have lost everything and been homeless twice, 6 years ago my son passed away and I thought my life was over then, but I kept on going. I am sorry for your losses but it''s good to see that you too are still going.

As I wrote yesterday I do not appreciate all the God, Huckabee, Bush or WalMart is responsible posts. My liberal friends should know better than this even if the comments were toungue-in-cheek. Thank you mandylou4u for expressing my feelings so much better than I can.

I actually took the time to read all of these comments and I am kinda sick about it. Did you guys forget that PEOPLE were hurt on tuesday? They were white, black, rich, poor. Those tornadoes did not care who they hit and it''s pretty rude to be throwing racial slurs and trying to figure out who can quote the bible the best. I personally have family in those areas that were hit. Thank goodness all of them are alright, some homeless, but still alive. Humans cannot stop tornadoes or hurricanes. As far as I know we don''t yet have that technology. So it shouldn''t be a fight as to who or why a tornado hits a certain place. Obviously none of you have ever had something like this happen around you or you would be a little more sensitive to the fact that some people lost their lives in a most horrific way. Maybe someday you will be fortunate enough to lose something and learn something at the same time.

Yeah, thats why texas gets hit every single year with tornadoes and florida gets destroyed with hurricanes every summer. California too gets burned, and buried under mud since a republican is the governor.

I boght the papers and sent them to my parents the next day.God did not cause this or any thing in the weather pattens..The bloody bible was written when humans did not know any better and man was in the dark ages as they want to be to this day.

I%u2019m appalled at the governor of Tennessee%u2019s lack of response to the global warming tornadoes.
We have no comprehensive strategy in place whatsoever, let alone a detailed plan of action to mitigate the effects of these tornadoes, and mother earth continues to suffer while the governor%u2019s office is out to lunch.
.
We the people call upon the governor to implement a comprehensive antiglobal warming strategy at once and work in coordination with state and federal officials; these tornadoes and storms continue to worsen and the quicker we stop the warming the sooner we will be able to stop the havoc and destruction these storms wreak on mother earth. We need action now.

mcv57 and underdogus are both evil. It''s crazy to think that god is punishing america for anything. It''s also crazy to think that the only people affected by this were white racists.

crzmeat,

If you go back and read my post you will find that I never said "God" caused this. "God" had nothing to do with this at all.

crzmeat,

Re: "FeelFree...Gosh were chatting this morning there are monolitics {sprayed concrete on wire} and other domes that have tackled the challange and survived yesit''s possible but not conventional."

Really? And they withstood a direct impact from a tornado?

ghemaster38....Get your head out from between your knees...God in no way shape or form had anything to do with this folks mad the desision to live in a area where tordados are KNOWN to happen and one happened. Always easier to blame god if god was going to toss out a tornado I believe he would have had a more specific target not poor and middle class folks like the white house and congressional buildings.
