So when the government decides that one of you clowns is "not a nice guy" it''d be just fine with you if they throw you into a prison and torture you without charging or convicting you of anything? - Reply to this comment
- McCain wasn''t tortured... the incompentent, venal, lying swine who lost five planes broke his arms when he didn''t place them across his chest when he ejected.
He made more propaganda films for North Vietnam than Jane Fonda...He is the scum of the earth...married into the Arizona mob...a Keating-Fiver who cost our nation billions....He is scum...his supporters are ignorant scum - Reply to this comment
- This is why media doesn''t belong in war situations. It is one thing to give the American people an update on the war and its efforts but another to be able to sit on your couch and watch a military operation (Shock and Awe) be enforced. If you want to know what it is like and more about what is going on then JOIN THE MILITARY!!!!!!!!!!

- BBC News is reporting today that the White House has stated that they may waterboard again in the future because it is legal.
To all of you out there that fear the USA is becoming a fascist state; that boat has sailed......

- When combating unprecedented, extraordinary evil, extreme methods must be incorporated. The Islamic militants we are fighting use our sense of fair play, compassion and our "battle field rules of engagement" against us. It''s hard for civilized societies to comprehend the evil that is radical Islam, countless daily examples remind us of this evil, the use of mentally handicapped women and even children, there has been instances of babies with bombs hidden to get past checkpoints, fighting from schools, hospitals, mosques, the purposeful targetting of innocent civilians, televised beheadings, torture methods beyond comprehension,as in portable electric drills removal of appendiges with sidecutting tools, electric shock to genitals, dragging and burning of bodies through the streets to then be hung from bridgetops, hostage taking the list goes on and on. Extraodinary evil requires extraodinary means and methods to combat it.

This is the United States of America, not a Nazi death camp, nor a Hanoi POW camp.
Your leadership has not even proven that these men are terrorists! And they''ve probably destroyed any evidence that proves whether they were terroists or not.
The idea that killing people just because someone points a finger at them is ruining this country. - Reply to this comment
- And admit they were wrong? No way!! I''m sure there will be all kinds of fabricated stories and they will do whatever it takes to cover it up. After all isn''t that the American way?

- fishinfool43,
and what i was asking is do you think the military is going to free people they have illegally tortured if they find out they didn''t do anything against the U.S.? I don''t, otherwise we would be facing billions in lawsuites and war crimes charges would be filed.
These people are not American and derive none of the benifits that we as citizens derive from the U.S. Therefore they owe us nothing and should not be expected to sacrafice anything, especially their freedom for us. - Reply to this comment
