- Maybe he is a liar but that was not the point. What I was getting at was the torture they all endured even tho there was a worthless piece of paper stating that they couldnt do certain things. I''m having a hard time believing that the POW''s enjoyed their time there.

- A former Vietnam veteran with top secret clearance says he has personally spoken to numerous POW''s who dispute John McCain''s claim that he refused to provide information after he was captured and tortured in Hanoi, saying that in fact McCain''s code-name was "Songbird" because of his willingness to tell all to avoid torture.
Jack McLamb served nine years in secret operations in Cambodia and other nations before going on to become one of the most highly decorated police officer''s in Phoenix history, winning police officer of the year twice before taking a role as a hostage negotiator for the FBI.
"I know a lot of Vietnam veterans and a few POW''s and all the POW''s that I''ve talked to over the years say that John McCain is a lying skunk,"
There is some debate as to wether MaCain was tortured or not. - Reply to this comment

- Go to any prison and at least 80% will say they are innocent, then after you do that, look up Sen. John McCain and ask him how they treated him in his 5+ years in the Hanoi Hilton. Like it or not, the Geneva Convention is nothing but a piece of very upscale toilet paper

- what I want to kow is this. If they take someone and lock them up in Guantanamo, especially this secret prison, and then use whatever methods they use to get info from them, do you really think these people will be freed when the military fonds out they were wrong and they are not guilty of conspiring against the U.S.? Numbers have been put out as high as 80% to describe the number of innocent people there.

- Enemy combatants have no rights under the Geneva convention. As far as these pieces of *** being held at Gitmo, here''''''''s the solution for ya. Take em one by one out into the yard and put a bullet in their head. Kill em all! If and when they are released they will go back to killing Americans. So why are we wasting the effort and money to detain them? Just shoot every one of the MF''''''''ers and be done with it. Other than that most of you nimwits that post on here shouldn''''''''t be allowed to post due to your low IQ''''''''s. It''''''''s laughable....

The point is, that we don''t know whether they killed anybody or not. And this is the United States of America not some Nazi death camp. Your beloved leadership has not brought them to trial, and pro''bly destroyed any relevant evidence that could have proved their guilt or innocence.
If you want killing rights without due process, you are little more than the animals you CLAIM that they are.
Bustwards like you are ruining this country. - Reply to this comment

And what magical ESP powers do have that makes you certain they are actually guilty of anything at all? Because Bush told you so? The man who has lied about everything in his pathetic life? It''s certainly not because they''ve been charged, tried or found guilty of anything is it? - Reply to this comment

- All I can say is that - if you haven''t gotten all intelligence of any value out of your prisoners in a couple of years - your methods stink and beyond that now you''re stupid enough to be fishing for stale intelligence.
