I haven''t got time to go through all 11 pages. Does anyone have a quick count of how many moonbat posts there are wishing that even more of those "toothless" or "fascist" (actual quotes) Southerners were killed? You wouldn''t believe the vile *** being posted about Southerners on other pages - just check out today''s McCain article.

You don''t buy insurance ya know because you''re healthy, or living in a safe place. You buy it because you''re unhealthy, and living in a unsafe place.

If you can''t live up to your obligations that you sell! That you tell people! Then you''re in the wrong business, fella. Ain''t no government bailout gonna save ya. Its like Ford giving out house loans.

I had allstate for my car insurance a while ago. And this fella hit my car when it was parked, and allstate gave me the money right away. No problems. Maybe allstate is a victim of their own honesty. I''ve heard other insurance companies still even haven''t paid damages for Katrina. And how long has that been?

At Monday%u2019s hearings, the insurance executives were questioned under oath, and the proceedings were broadcast on a state-run cable channel.

In their defense, Allstate executives said the hurricane seasons in 2004 and 2005 had nearly bankrupted their company and several other insurers.

Mr. Richardson, of Allstate Floridian, said his company had paid out about $1 billion more in claims in those two years than it made in premiums. Only a bailout by its parent company saved it from bankruptcy, he said.

He also said the company was bracing for an increase in destructive hurricane activity because of rising ocean temperatures, a possibility that the state%u2019s hurricane loss projection models do not take into account.

%u201CPrudent business judgment dictates that this increased risk of hurricane formation should be taken into consideration in determining the appropriate rate for the risk being insured,%u201D he said.

THANKS AL GORE, your nonsense just cost Florida citizens about $100 billion!

The insurance companies could care less about AL GORE. They employ scientists, meteorologists, and mathematicians to evaluate the risk going forward. Do the increased rates not tell you something about the reality of global warming?

Wake up, dude! Lay off the neocon koolaide!

First of all - I meant to say its 70 degrees - not 50!!

And yes - got the notice from Alstate last year -- no hurricane or flooding included in their policies from now on.

And its not Al Gore''s fauilt there''s Global Warming you fool -- sheesh -- did you really think the insurance companies needed to be told that they were paying out hundreds of billions of dollars every year in Florida??? HEL-LO WAKE THE EFF UP YOU FRICKING FOOL

Florida legislators have suspended Allstste from selling additional policies in the state because of 45% policy premium increases. Allstste explains that they are using their new global warming risk model (not state approved). These increases come after Florida set up a re-insurance fund for insurance companies cutting their costs by 60%. THANKS AL GORE, your nonsense just cost Florida citizens about $100 billion!

oh dear -- Global Warning ringing any bells to the evangical/creationists/world-is-flat Clubbers??

Here in NYC it is 50 degrees - Spring-like -- usually we''d be covered in snow, sleet and ice battling freezing winds and wind-chill of 10 below - instead people are eating/drinking outside cafes, wandering around with light jackets and thinking its Spring!

The reason why people die in those cyclones in India is cuz they don''t have the ability to inform those people a dangerous storm is coming. We have that ability, but chose to cover other things instead.
