Bail Denied For Md. Teen Who Allegedly Shot His Family, Then Staged Discovery Of Bodies
- Oh, dear Lord!!! Why does it always come down to gun control whenever there''s a murder involving a gun?! It has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with gun control. If someone really wants to kill another person with a gun, they''ll find a way, with or without gun control. It takes a human to pull the trigger, therefore, the blame is on the human, not the object in which was used to commit the crime.

Your arguments are null and void according to our Constitution. And so are your arguments about my right to have them.

- schoollord,
With 60 - 80 million gun owners in America, your dream of a total ban on civilian gun ownership would result in revolutionary war part II.
Is that what you really want? - Reply to this comment
- Most gun owners keep the unlocked or poorly locked!~

And most gun-hating extremists rely on stereotypes, generalizations, falsehoods, and outright lies, so what''s your point? - Reply to this comment
- Because the militia is formed by "people"!~

I''m a person and I''m a part of the militia according to the U.S. code of law.
Therefore, my right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. - Reply to this comment
- "..The right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
Note:
It doesn''t say "the right of the state", or "the right of the militia", or "the right of the government". It says: "the right of the PEOPLE."
Why is that? - Reply to this comment
- schoollord,
Not all gun owners have children.
There is no need to lock your guns if you are at home and you live alone or with other responsible adults.
What I always do is I lock my guns up if I leave home to go somewhere. I have no children or idiots in my home. And you need to unlock and load your guns to be able to use them for hunting, defense, or target practice.
There are many options for securing your gun including new safes that operate with the touch of your hand simply by reading your fingerprints.
Ultimately people will decide for themselves how to handle their own property. - Reply to this comment

Don''t play dumb, sir. You should know that a "militia" is a military operation never meant to be under individual control.
It''s supposed to be armed and trained by the state. The people who wrote the constitution were clear on this since it was assumed at the time that "common law" handled individual gun ownership.
"Common law" not constitutional law, do you understand?
To reiterate: YOU DON''T HAVE A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS AS AN INDIVIDUAL, ONLY AS PART OF AN ARMED AND TRAINED MILITIA.
Thank you. - Reply to this comment
