"""King George is at it again!!! Can you believe the American people voted this guy in office not once but twice! """"

Actually hotpaulie I can''t believe it. I think it was stolen twice. There is no other rationale for having a chimp elected POTUS.

Yet another Bush failure. Tax cuts for the Rich and Slush funds for defense contractors, all paid for by red ink and cutting social programs for everyone else.
Bush''s "Compassionate Conservatism"!!!

Congress needs to let the tax cuts expire. Nobody wants to pay more taxes, myself included, but we must turn around the Bush Ocean of red ink.

If we must cut "unnecessary domestic programs" in these tough times, lets cut deep, right to the core of worthless domestic programs - the Bush executive pension.

The so-called legend of Ronnie Reagan is a fantasical load of BS ... there''''s no historical or factual data in existance to back up republican claims to Ronald Reagan The Great.

Posted by nyckate at 04:27 PM : Feb 03, 2008

Ronald Reagan will be remembered in history as the single most over-rated president ever. He illegally dealt weapons to Iran to finance an illegal war in El Salvador and at the same time sold poison gas ingredients to Iran''s enemy, Iraq. his trickle down theory of economics was an unqualified disaster for the poor and middle class as were his massive tax cuts for the wealthy. He is in fact the 2nd worst ignorant and corrupt fu*ck up ever to hold the job, 2nd only to the current chimp in charge now.

Our nation is NOT destroyed. There is plenty that can be done.

Who''s going to want to do it?

Not the software guy; he wants to promote "creative capitalism" (by offshoring more jobs, which in turn will hurt the US economy, as it stands, even further.)

We need a paradigm shift. Or two.

Again, who''s going to want to do it?

So maybe our country is destroyed.

P*ss on you for just whining, instead of asking or talking what can be done to help save it.

There is a future coming for this country and it could be bad, good, or a mix of both. Why not make it good and we''d all prosper and feel fulfilled again?

McCain made one of the typically absurd Republican remarks about Ronald Reagan at the debate last night. He said something to the effect that Bush had strayed from Reagan''''s vision regarding tax cuts and the fiscal restraint. What a joke! Reagan inherited a national debt of approximately one trillion dollars: he tripled it in eight years. How Republicans can mention Reagan and fiscal restraint in one sentence is beyond me? Bush I added to the debt; Bill Clinton brought a balanced budget and three years of an actual surplus. Bush II did away with fiscal discipline and brought back record deficits and a debt that went from less than six trillion to over 9 trillion. They lie when they call themselves the party of fiscal restraint: the proof is in the real numbers of the national debt. Check it out yourselves if you don''''t believe me.

This budget will be trimed (to make it look like its being reviewed and debated); then the Congress will pass it - oil is greasing the politicians hand. This route is boring, I can''t see why the world market is tolerating these immbeciles in the U.S. Government.

I wonder what''s actually in that budget...

Hey, just for fun, Google Arbusto Energy and Afghanistan ( or Iraq for that matter). Try Pipeline with it too. BTW, Arbusto is Bush is Spanish.

400 BILLION he wants to put on OUR CREDIT CARD?Rather than do that, let him take it out of all the money BIG OIL, THE DEFENCE INDUSTRY, the Wall Street folks, bankers, traders and such, and be sure to collect a BILLION per year that his gang has been in power from the BUSH FAMILY FORTUNES...
Then the Frat Brat could finally say that he HAD DONE SOMETHING GOOD for a "CHANGE"!

This current war was on their drawing board since before the chimp''''''''s regime took power and they''''''''re proud of the fact that they were able to use 9-11 to make it happen.

Bush wanted Iraq and 10 days after he took office wanted excuses and ways to take out Saddam. He and his Regime didn''''''''t want to listen to Richard Clark about OBL...

Posted by IOWEIGN at 05:08 PM : Feb 03, 2008

He also wants a war with Iran and mark my words he will find an excuse to attack them before his term is up. Bush as*skissers write this off as a conspiracy theory, but all they have to do is to go to the website of The Project for the New American Century and read for themselves. Far from being a conspiracy theory the Neoconservatives brag about starting another war, this time with Iran. This current war was on their drawing board since before the chimp''''s regime took power and they''''re proud of the fact that they were able to use 9-11 to make it happen.

They are using the 5th Fleet as bait and trying to create an incident in the Persian Gulf. the Iranians do have some missiles that can/will make life miserable of for our sailors in that gulf.

These seven years have been extremely profitable for the neocons and their fat cat buddies.

Halliburton, Exxon, profits going through the roof.

$400B deficit.

Who''s paying for Bush''s spending spree in Iraq and his permanent "war on terror," otherwise known as "Halliburton''s Business Plan?"

The American tax payers.

Su*ckers, all of us.

But let''''s stop taking advantage of people in other countries. Posted by s0055d at 05:36 PM : Feb 03, 2008

Or they could stop taking advantage of us. Whichever way you look at it we need to take careof ourselves. Remember the strongest must put on the oxygen mask FIRST then assist the others. We''re getting worn down and worn thin. Enough illegal labor. Enough foreign visa labor. Send everyone home. Fair trade or no trade.
