President Makes Appeal On Heels Of Discouraging Labor Report
- I don''t trust Bush or Congress. After all it was their past plans that got us here in the first place.

- Here you go folks,, Hammer these republicans with this one...
Is the U.S. Failing in Afghanistan?
It was malice in wonderland at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Thursday as Bush Administration envoys insisted things are getting better in Afghanistan, while angry lawmakers from both parties cited facts and figures showing just the opposite. Even the senior Republican on the panel, Senator Richard Lugar, found the Administration''s claims wanting. "I''m not sure that we have a plan for Afghanistan," he said.

- Hey cartoon fans, if you ever wondered what happened to Pinky and the Brain, I found them in the White House. Except for the Brain, who seems to have been missing in action for several weeks. But Pinky was touring Hallmark today, and marveled at the music cards. And the beer someone was holding nearby.

- I want to see Barney the dog lead Bush on a leash out to the helicopter on the lawn next time. Barney has better direction than George. And I choose the Germanic version, Georg (GAAY-org) when referring to him. No offense to any members of the gay community who probably want nothing to do with him.

- According to our government, the USA now spends more annually on the military than all the other countries in the World combined. Having said that, it''s important to cut taxes for the wealthiest Americans because, as you can see, the wealthiest Americans have really driven this economy through the roof.
Every American family is now in debt over $20,000 to other governments thanks to George Bush''s war. I''m sure the CEO of an HMO is going to feel the pain in the same way a two-wage family making $80k will feel it.
Bush wants the economy stimulated, put the money back in the hands of those who spend more of it than those who are still shipping our jobs overseas. The wealthiest Americans spend, but virtually every person reading this spends virtually everything they earn. A slight difference, which Republicans may yet evolve enough to learn before we need a 3rd wage in the house to keep up. - Reply to this comment
- Wow, yea. Well, if Bush says it''s urgent then Congress had better jump to it and do EXACTLY what Georgie Boy says--NOT!!!
Congress: DO EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT BUSH SAYS! DON''T GET ANYWHERE NEAR THE FOUL STENCH OF HIS "LEGACY." - Reply to this comment
- Was the Cowardly Cowboy there just to make a comedy appearance or was he trying to ask advice on speech making after his disastrous State of the Dis-Union Speech. This guy has such an inverted Midas touch, that if I had any stock in Hallmark cards, I ''d dump it tomorrow morning. What a "freakin'' loser!"

- Folks,
To Stimulate the economy, Americans must go out and consume (buy). Cash, Credit and Asset are required to purchase anything. We know Americans have no savings (cash). Just found out the Average Credit Card debt is $10,000.00 and maxed out. Therefore, we need to sell our assets such as our homes to foreigners in order to buy and stimulate the economy. $1200.00 in tax rebates is just not going to cut it. - Reply to this comment
- This is a paid commercial:
If you vote for me, I will pass tax rebates and cuts. Its OK to be selfish with the next generation that will have to somehow pay down the $10T and counting federal debt. Come-on, this is $$$ into your pocket. Please do not delay, this is a limited time special offer to all Americans. - Reply to this comment
- Folks,
I wish to be named temporary conservator of President Bush. He is out of touch and control.
Also, I wish to be named temporary conservator of all 88% of Americans that approved of President Bush to invade Iraq and get Saddam Hussain on the day after bush announced on nation TV about his decision.
I want to save America. - Reply to this comment
- Bush is pushing this thing through awfully hard.... there must be a bunch of major kickbacks in it for his cronies.

- If the way to imporve the economy is to put money into the hands of middle class Americans, obviously the way to do that is not to borrow money from the future, but to take the money from those who have too much. For example, how about going back to the pre-Reagan tax rates? Things were pretty good bakc then, the "economy" did well for most people. That would mean 80% marginal tax rates for the richest Americans and corporations. With that money, we wouldn''t need to borrow anything and we could "stimulate" the economy all they want.
If trickle-down economics worked, then we wouldn''t need to "stimulate" the economy at all - the rich and their profits have never been higher, why is the economy in a crisis? And in the most miserable, poorest economies on eart, there is the greatest wealthy individuals, how come they didn''t trickle down? For example, the richest man on the earth is a Mexican who rips off starving Mexican peasants. Why isn''t Mexico a paradise then, since there are rich people there?
The whole trickle down economy doesn''t work, has never worked, and will never worked. "Stimulating" the economy by borrowing money from our future is a typical stupid scheme of these worthless scum in power today. - Reply to this comment
- No wonder the world thinks Americans are stupid. Look at what we''''ve had for a leader for the past seven years.

- The Great Emperor Bush II is pressing the Congresspeople in the Senate to push through is supposed "economic stimulus" package based on his "Ferengi" economics and the "voodoo" numbers generated by the Labor department for January.
The Great Emperor has indicated that he is losing patience with the Senate and it is rumored that he will march into the Senate chambers and threaten all those once stupidly-loyal Neocon Fascist Republican Senators seeking to "pork" the Emperor''s bill, with the harshest reprisals imaginable, one of those being to lock these same Senators in the Capital men''s room with Larry Craig!!!!!
