"January is typically the month in which employers make their decisions about hiring and ramping up with this news it appears that when the details of the meeting come out that they projections are for lower growth going forward for the year. What did they expect when they exported all of our jobs overseas and then paid slave wages to the laborers? Those making .12 a hour (China, Tawain, Korea, Vietnam, Mexico etc.) cannot afford to purchase the goods that they slave to make and with virtually no new job creation or alternative necessary products at a reasonable price being produced in the US, we cannot absorb the excesses of the corporate world and finance their private lives."

Yikes!!! That was perfect radiob. As usual.
Thank you.

What they failed to realize with "trickle down economics" is that it creates no long lasting growth and in the end the very elite who supported trickle down economics will find their fortures trickling down as well.

"Ahhh, my poor America lost.

Once the land of the free and home of the brave, we are now the land of secret prisons, illegal abduction, indefinite incarceration without charge or representation, torture, murder, universal surveillance, and preemptive war of conquest.

But that didn''t seem to be enough to wake us up.

Perhaps waking up to the fact that our economy has been destroyed, and that we are now literally owned by the Chinese and other foreign enemies, might finally cause us to think, and act.

Perhaps the founding fathers were right after all, and Bush and all of his accomplices should be impeached and tried for betraying them, and our beloved Constitution.

Or perhaps we will simply continue to head full speed down the path to our own destruction.

It''s up to us fellow Americans. Do we value our freedom and humanity so little that we no longer deserve them? Or will we once again stand to defend and uphold American liberty?"

"U.S. Economy Suffers Another Body Blow

"Exxon Mobil Makes Monster Profit
Oil Giant Raked In $40.6B In 2007 - Biggest Annual Profit In History For U.S. Company"

Seeing these two stories on the same page is interesting proof that "trickle down" economics was BS from the start.

From the article above:
"Nervous employers cut 17,000 jobs in January - the first such reduction in more than four years and a fresh trouble sign that the U.S. economy is in danger of stalling."

Oops! It''s looks like India just gained another 17,000 jobs.... Yeah, good for them, right?

Americans can buy a small boat, row out to sea, circle around, come back ashore and wave a small American Flag, shout viva America, pretend to be Cuban, gain new U.S. Citizenship with ID, gets hugs, a loan, housing, a small business and you are back in business! :)

"... and a fresh trouble sign that the U.S. economy is in danger of stalling..."

CBS, please quit feeding tripe, the economy has been contracting since Reagan, it started as a part of his trickle down economic policy, bust the unions, lower labor costs, maximize profits. Jobs have been exported to slave labor countries for years now, unemployment only counts newly unemployed, not those whose unemployment checks ran out.

By all measures, the US economy has been contracting ever since, but short upturns are hailed as booms by those selling snake oil.

This "invisible" army of those who, after "working hard and playing by the rules" were kicked to the curb, are growing angrier, and there are enough of them to complete America''s demise, we''d all best start paying attention to them, they won''t be "invisible" much longer.

Ah yes, and remember a couple years ago when we heard the Iraqis were only a few months away from taking back control of their country and standing on their own? I think it''''s time we start billing them in some way to make them get off their incompetent, lazy azzes.

Posted by olebd,

It does not matter how long we occupy Iraq, the minute we leave the varous factions will kick out the foreign fighters so they can have their civil war.

actually, the war funding is mostly spent in the US (equipment and etc) and has helped delay a recession if you are a believer in the Laffer Curve.

Internet is a good place to share information and meet friends. I recently found a nice web site called pubspa.com where you can meet friends who have same interest in beauty care, massage, wellness and spa treatment. You can also share blog, video, game, photos, etc with people from all over the world. Unlike other online dating sites where you have to pay membership fee, this site is totally free. I already made several interesting friends there.

Vote Republican if you want to continue the same supply-side, trickle-down economic policy, which Bush Sr. himself has euphemistically called "voodoo economics".

donbl1,,, Here''s the picture of watering down the total incompetence of this administration.

Is the U.S. Failing in Afghanistan?

It was malice in wonderland at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Thursday as Bush Administration envoys insisted things are getting better in Afghanistan, while angry lawmakers from both parties cited facts and figures showing just the opposite. Even the senior Republican on the panel, Senator Richard Lugar, found the Administration''s claims wanting. "I''m not sure that we have a plan for Afghanistan," he said.

Maybe if you turn off the computer, go outside, and practice what you preach, you might get followers...

OTOH, you might not... you''re obviously leading by example, so may I suggest you belt up for a while? NOBODY BELIEVES YOU.

Indeed, I''ve no qualms against the system, protecting intellectual property (given that three outlets I am pursuing involve such material; I don''t want it pirated!), and the like. I''m too busy working and finding new avenues to make a living off my God-given talents. And occasionally posting too, but nobody''s perfect...
