What is this? I can`t understand where the brain of your authorities are. In my country we have IDs and international passports (two different things). In order to receive international passport you have to present birth document, your ID (and the family bookif you are woman or child.)You must show your passport EVERYTIME you leave or enter the country. There is order. And you allow everybody to enter the USA without documents.

Actually it is easier getting into the U.S. than it is getting back into my own country! The Canadian border asks way more questions than the U.S. border.

I don''t know how they can say that because here in Canada we have always had to show ID.

So unless they don''t ask for ID from the Mexican people, I have no idea what they are talking about.

I wish they would have made up their mind awhile ago. When this first came about, you were going to be required to have a pass port. Now they changed it to a trusted traveler card or Birth certificate & ID. AFTER we got our pass ports because my youngest son%u201Ds Orthodontist is in Canada. So we wasted a lot of money for nothing.
