Who is they??? If you mean the Native Americans the key word is native. "They" were here first and who needs a Visa? Caucasians came and stayed without one, "they" watched them land. Mexicans come without one and we watch them come. Boy, I''ve used so many thems, theys I''ve confused myself. No wonder you are lost in limbo!

The Great Emperor Bush II is puzzled why the American Indians are suing the government for allowing big business to exploit the natural resources on Indian land and not compensate those Indians exploited.

The Great Emperor feels that the American Indians are receiving the same "benefits" that other non-Indians are "enjoying", that being poverty, high unemployment, poor living conditions and little education. The Emperor also believes that he is "protecting" the American Indians as he is all citizens of the US(SA) from those nasty "terrrrrrorists" who are hiding beneath every rock and behind every cactus and ready to either convert us all to Islam or kill us all!

It must also be remembered that the Great Emperor fancies himself as a "rhinestone cowboy" to whom American Indians were his natural enemy, and one does not pay your enemies even if you steal from them!!!

SIG HEIL, BUSH!!!!

The interior Dept Sold LEASES on indian land for mining and oil rights.. The royalties were to be put in a trust for the Tribes. They did not do that.. The royalties Were NOT even collected from the Well drillers or the miners . The interor dept, just kept renewing those Leases . and Not putting the money in the TRUST FUNDS ..

I saw my fist reservation 40 years ago Indian island in Me. it was horrible we took the state gave them a cramped island with no resorces we did throw booze at them nearly destroyed a race of humans we even traded spall pox infected blankets with them in the midwest the first use of our goverment of biological weapons. I am a decendent of a indian and european man they wouldn''t even put her name on the certificate because she was unworthy that''s the reason we know that''s how it was done in those days. We owe we should pay we wiped out a culture like Hitler tried. Guns against bows and later even dragged in the gatling gun to shoot more it is the darkest part of our history and should be addressed don''t worry I won''t get anything it was to long ago but I AM NOT ASHAMED...

Whatever the Europeans did to the Indians it was not genocide. There are more Native Americans now than there were when the Europeans came over. And they have a higher standard of living. They were living a stone age existence without horses, cattle, iron, or wheels. That being said, anthropologists studying primitive tribes have said tribal life is happier and more satisfying than modern life. They knew many things and had many skills we don''t possess. Throughout history whenever a group with more technology has run into a more primitive one the more technical ones have prevailed. Not just in North America. American Indians have the same rights as any other American. They do as well as anybody else when they assimilate into the general population. I am part Indian and have some full bloods in my family.
