- A total tragedy and completely avoidable. Cheap labor and a government who is unwilling to address it are the culprits. I put responsibility directly on the shoulders of our politicians, law makers and anyone who hires illegal aliens. This makes me sick!
There are reasons why these people enter our country illegally. We have a government who tolerates, even encourages it. Hang the carrot, then try to nab them before they get to it. They make it through the front line and they''re home free. Why don''t they just take away the damned carrot? Billions of dollars of resources squandered for "operational control of our nation''s borders" and lots of other neat sounding rhetoric. Nothing has changed folks! The illegal alien population is higher than it''s ever been in US history. Look around...! Unfortunately, agent assaults are higher than they''ve ever been as well.
When are Americans, not *.americans, going to end ignorant toleration? There is a big wealth of information to be had regarding the negative impact illegal aliens have on this country. Please explore it.
I wonder...Had the Border Patrol agent ran over the Mexican would the media coverage be different? Would it be in more headlines? Would there be protests. Would our flag be flown upside down. Would the Mexican interest groups be forming lynch mobs? Would our own government seek prosecution of the agent?

- While the culprits who murdered the Border Patrolman goes free, we know the names of the criminals who have imprisoned. Ignacios Ramos and Jose Compean are in isolation at the Yazoo City, Miss. Penitentiary in solitary confinement...

Bush the liar, Gonzalez the perjurer and John Sutton, the US Attorney and his office, whose malfeasance and nonfeasance in the prosecution of the case led to a conviction. Meanwhile, these two worthies, Gonzalez and Sutton stand accused of failing to prosecute the Texas Youth Commission officials who sexually abused children as documented by a 2005 Texas Ranger investigation. The claim made was that the youths would have to have sustained bodily harm for a prosecution...which is simply a G-- D--- lie...Why aren''t these b*stards and the pederasts under the jail!!?? Where is CBS on this case?

- I think we need to build that wall along our Mexican border and then extend it to the city of New Orleans. Build it nice and high, put all the perps, rapist, and murderer''s there and let them live together. No rules. Every 2 years kill off the top elite who have managed to get control so that it evens things out again. Then make our prisons for the less dangerous criminals. Anyone who kills while in prison goes strait to New Orleans for LIFE!

- Had this border guard survived, Mexican authorities would have tracked down the perpetraters only to hand them over to prosecutor J. Sutton to be used as witnesses. The border guard, no doubt, would have been charged for jay walking.
