My point still stands about Democrats not wanting a land invasion.
The Balkans campaign was an undeclared war in violation of the U.S. Constitution.
I don"t care what precedents there were. You can go all the way back to the undeclared Naval War with France.
It"s still a violation of our Constitution.
Clinton should have been impeached for that, rather than for his confusion about the meaning of the word "is" when he testified under oath.
If Clinton had been impeached and removed for that, then George Witless Bush would have thought twice about invading Iraq. - Reply to this comment

- Couple more questions blameamerica, et al. Do you think our troops are fighting so the people of the middle east and central Asia have the freedoms we are supposed to have? If that is true, why don''t you support the same rights for your fellow citizens? Instead of the fascist belief that if you don''t speak the "Party" line you are a traitor, why not try supporting the rights of all people to have freedom of thought and speech. People like you scare the hell out of me, but while I exercise my rights to vocally disagree with you, I will support your rights to exercise the same freedoms.
And why haven''t your and yours commented on the sending of WOUNDED soldiers back to the war zones? Aren''t you just a little bit concerned with that policy? If you and yours think that is acceptable, volunteer to join those incredible young men and women; what an incredible way to show support for the troops! Oops, I realize that is not going to happen from an armchair hypocrite and coward.
Liberals, for your education, are gladly responsible for the success of the Civil Rights movement, public education, fair housing and employment acts, Veterans rights (Pres. Hoover and his behavior ring a bell?), consumer safety, children rights, improved labor/work conditions, improved medical safety, etc. - Reply to this comment

- samsel3 lied I do not know how many times his stratagy seems to be lie enough in order to create his own version of truth. I think he needs to put his tinfoil hat on long enough to purge his thought process from endless mind control bombardment.

- You shot yourself in the head with tthe post below.
The Democrats (some of them) wanted at most an air campaign like Clinton"s NATO campaign in the Balkans, that led to the overthrow of Milosevic, with no U.S. deaths in combat.
They didn"t want a land invasion, you idiot.
RE:
"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq''''s refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."

- blameamerica: wow, you scare me as much as any other fanatic. The twisted beliefs you screech use the same logic used to justify ethnic cleansing and religious jihads: you are right and everyone else is wrong and if we don''t agree with you we are traitors to our people. My father was a 25 year veteran of the military. You know what he defended? The civil and constitutional rights of all people, not just the ones who goose-stepped to the administration. Have you read the constitution? Or studied the words of our founding fathers? Sending men and women (boys and girls, really) into the Save the Bushes war was most definitely NOT the fault of liberals. Where do you get your information? The right-wing propaganda Times? We have a constitutional right and a moral obligation to oppose the war. And that is "oppose the war", not the troops. It would be a dishonor to scream support for a war of Bush ego and hurt feelings. Look in the mirror, you will see who is really responsible for sending wounded troops back to a war zone - a two-faced coward.
