A WOUNDED SOLDIER SHOULD BE CURED OF HIS INJURIES AND GIVEN A FIRM "WELL DONE" AND NEVER SENT INTO HARMS WAY AGAIN! HE HAS DONE HIS SHARE!

Seventy-nine injured soldiers were pressed into war duty last month as the U.S. Army struggled to fill its ranks, but most were assigned to light-duty jobs within limits set by doctors, two Army leaders said.

Actually the conditions in Iraq and Kuwait are probably better than hospitals here.

KaylaG04 says, "This is nothing new, nor wrong."

It may not be new, but it is very definitely wrong! It is wrong to send unfit men (mentally or physically) into battle. It is cruel to them, and their infirmities make them a liability to the others with whom they serve. Rumsfeld''s legacy of lunacy lives on! World conquest is NOT cheap, no matter what the neocons say!

Bush has almost completely destroyed our armed services. It will take many years to restore this country''s defense capability.

This is nothing new, nor wrong. History is filled with the common stories of wounded soldiers returned to their combat units & those who "escaped" medical treatment to return to their units on their own. Like the extended "tours" in combat, substandard equipment (the M4 sherman tank, the XM16, etc..)these things appear odd only to a population with the lowest number of veterans in our nation''''s history.

I can''t speak for WW II, that was my fathers war, but as a Combat Vet of Vietnam, I can say if you were taken out of country for a Combat Injury of Illness you DID NOT return until such time as you were released for Active Duty. The reason being that, since you were out of country, you should be totally well before returning. I guess the desperation of Sir Lies-A-Lot to keep his pathetic little war going over rules common sense. What am I saying... The Little Nazi doesn''t even know how to SAY the words Common Sense!! ROFLMAO There has NEVER been worse in the history of this nation... NEVER. Sieg Heil Bush!

This is SHAMEFUL mistreatment of our soldiers by their REPUBLICAN Commander in Chief, the monster who sends our soldiers off to die for WHAT? Oil? Vengeance? Hubris? Stu.pidity? Whatever the reason we''re in Iraq, it''s NOT worth it!

Bush does NOT care about our troops, he doesn''t care about our country, he is a worthless spoiled drunken megalomaniac.
