Comments on: Waxman Challenges White House E-Mail Claim
House Committee Chair Says Administration Assertions Conflict With Earlier Statements
- Once again, the administration of the Great Emperor Bush has been caught in a lie and attempting to "cover it''s arse" concerning e-mails that were allegedly lost in the black hole of cyberspace.
35 years ago (strangely enough, under another Republican president) we were wrapped up with audio tapes either missing or strangely "erased" but which showed the world the paranoia surrounding "The Trickster" Nixon.
Today, we are involved in memos written with invisible ink, video tapes that were "re-used", and e-mails that, supposedly, never existed, and all under another Republican president (now Emperor) who is committed to keeping the public ignorant of EVERYTHING (and, possibly, how paranoid HE IS!)!!!
Can''t we elect someone to the "HIGH OFFICE" who;
1) Isn''t PARANOID!
2) Will be honest with the American public!
3) Will finally tell us the truth about what happeed at Roswell! - Reply to this comment

- To even expect a truthful answer out of this administration is ludicrous. We have these criminals for only eleven and a half months left in the term. Once he''s outta there, he''s fair game. Ever citizen in the United States should file charges against them for murder, and corruption.

Fool me once (nixon) shame on me, fool me twice (bush) same on me, fool me three times not a chance, never again. - Reply to this comment
- Having an administration - any administration - in charge of preserving archives of governmental business is like the fox guarding the hen house. This should be tasked to an outside, non-partisan source. Did we learn nothing from the Nixon White House tapes?

- But they cant destroy the people involved in destroying this stuff and there-in lies our hope.
It may take a little while but catching a toe
tapper in one of their compulsive performances
should be easy and dancing to a little perjure music
may not be their choice over spilling the beans
and keeping their toe tapping in the closet. - Reply to this comment

- There are only two things any of us need to ever remember about the Bush presidency: 1. The Republican Party chose him as the candidate in 2000; 2. The Republican Party chose him as the candidate in 2004. So, if you want more of the same, then vote for the Republican candidate in 2008. Life is simple if you don''t try to overstate the obvious.

True, especially considering that since a standard DVD-DL drive on any home PC can store millions of e-mails on a single blank DVD+R, and a Blu-ray recorder can store billions, it is ridiculous to still rely on magnetic tape, which can be destroyed with a $20 de-gausser from radio shack.
Since e-mails primary delivery console is a computer, the data can be archived on the fly, the fact that it wasn''t is further proof (as if any were needed) of deliberate corruption.
Start the trials, America is almost out of time. - Reply to this comment
