For the record, Dr. Carl Sagan was an atheist, and, as the Bible would say, a fool (Yes, because the Bible says: A fool says in his heart, "There is no God." TWICE!). So in spite of getting a glimpse of all the stars that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ created, he still didn''t understand that and just assumed it all showed up by chance. Not hardly! The intricate details of every plant, tree, etc. prove that they didn''t just show up. Try breaking an expensive watch. Put the pieces in a bag, and shake it. What are the odds that after, say, 1 million years, that you will pull out a watch? My point exactly. You can''t create order out of chaos. Therefore the only obvious conclusion is that we and everything you see not man-made was created by God. PERIOD!

Where''s the proof? Also, keep in mind that UFO''s (UNIDENTIFIED flying objects) are just that; don''t automatically assume they are some sort of alien aircraft! *rolls eyes*

Funny how this always gets reported in the South or the West. They are all less educated in those parts and are a simple folk. Little education = seeing things.

What a terrible, non educated, stereotypical, mean thing to say. I''m not from the south or west but I do know a lot of smart people there. infact found this on MSNBC.com for backup The Top High Schools:
1 . International Academy, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
*2 . Stanton College Prep, Jacksonville, Fla.
*3 . Paxon, Jacksonville, Fla.
*4 . Alabama School of Fine Arts, Birmingham, Ala.
5 . Jericho, Jericho, N.Y.
6 . George Mason, Falls Church, Va.
7 . Myers Park, Charlotte, N.C.
*8 . Science Academy of South Texas, Mercedes, Texas
9 . H-B Woodlawn, Arlington, Va.
*10 . Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies, Los Angeles, Calif.

So that''s 5 out of 10...not to shabby.

Spent 40 years in the cockpit, 32 of those were for a major US airline flying jets, 20 of those were spent flying out of ORD.
Have seen all kinds of objects thru the windshield in all kinds of flying conditions and I can assure you none of them were operated by little green, grey or pink aliens.

%u201C The people don%u2019t want to know the truth, Mulder. They only want to believe what their minds can comprehend; they just don''t grasp what Dr. Carl Sagan was saying to us in 1980.%u201D

All the Semitic monotheistic religions believe their "god" created man in "his" (or is it her - or it''s) image. Imagine encountering an alien built like an octopus! And weirder yet - believing in a "superoctopus" god!

Hmm, I want to be skeptical, but I wonder??? I have seen a strange, very strange object flying over new york state and for years I said nothing and tried to rationalize what I saw, since it was many years ago, it was advanced beyond the technology that we have even now. I have an education and I even have training in meterology, and i am far from stupid, country, ignorant or backward. I suffer no mental illnesses or delusions, and i am not looking for aliens to take me away from my earthly troubles. I saw what I saw. I really wanted to belive that my eyes were playing tricks, but I had plenty of time to look at this thing and compare it to any earthly object and came up blank. There was no rhyme or reason for the object I saw. Funny, at the time (and I had plenty of it) it never occured to me to take a picture and I had a camera around my neck. Lets think about this a minute.

Look out, Martians have a "No Child Left Behind" policy for Earth flights.

..."the object he saw last week was a mile long and half a mile wide. "It was positively, absolutely nothing from these parts."

Now, even for Texas, that''s BIG!!!

"People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it''s the end of times," said Steve Allen,..."

Jesus is coming back in a spaceship? Hmmm. I wasn''t aware of that.

Old men in their horse drawn buggies asked the same question when the car was invented. LOL
