''Subprime'' has been around with bankers for awhile, but now everyone is talking about ''subprime,''" said Wayne Glowka, a spokesman for the group and a dean at Reinhardt College in Waleska, Ga. "It''s affecting all kinds of people in all kinds of places

The cops don''t set the bail amount. Judges do. Someone should run him over in the street when he gets out.

"He was in solitary confinement in the Smith County Jail on a $2 million bond."

So, for two million dollars they would let this guy back out on the street?

These cops don''t seem to care about public safety at all.

I will agree .. I had to take a double look at his picture seeing as its not the Chris that I knew / remembered - but I do understand the damage drugs can have. I havent seen Chris in a few years aside from an occasional ''run into each other while out and about'' its just really sad for me to see such a good kid do something like this. I understand he isnt a child anymore, but at one time he was, and he was a good one, I will stand firm in saying that. We did more than just go to school together - we often hung out and ran around in our little group - wouldnt have EVER seen anything like this happening. Again, Im not giving pitty ~ Im just saying its sad.

This is when a .25 cent bullet would be needed instead of a lengthy trial that we have to pay for. Not to mention he''ll get 3 square meals, get to workout, watch t.v. and oh yeah get to breathe.

Hmm, well this is just sick. What is this world coming to? Drug abuse to the point of pure insanity? And yet I see no solutions being brought to our attention as to how to prevent horrendous crimes like this happening. But whether it can be prevented or not, I like to think that this man will get what he deserves. But then I have to wake up and realize that our views on "Fair Trial" have been so distorted that this man may easily get away with a life sentance in a rent-free facility with everything a man could dream of(i.e Home gym, T.V., Hot meals, Cot to sleep on, etc etc). In my view we are letting things like this slide far too easily.

I''m not trying to be mean, but you don''t have to post on here. And you don''t have to come back on here looking to see if anyone responds. You have to expect by now that if you post on here, someone is going to reply back, and you might not like it. I''ve read some of your posts before, you''ve had some not so nice things to say. We all post our opinions and what happens, happens.

Judging by the picture of him accompanying the article, he looked completely out of it. Drugs abuse can cause extreme psychosis. I''m not talking marajuana or alcohol, but Crystal Meth, Cocaine addiction can turn you into a paranoid freak. This is just a sick story.

Sad to see such an event happen like this one. What makes it even worse is that I grew up knowing this kid (have known him since he was about 12 yrs old) ... and until just a few years ago, couldnt have found a negative word to say about him. He was actually always fun to be around and could always bring a smile to those around him. I dont know what would make one snap like he did .. you have to wonder at what point did they become ''someone else'' I am in no way giving pitty, its obvious he did what he did and he should / will have to pay for it, its just sort of sad to see how someone can go from ''what they were, to what they are''. God bless her family and friends ... and his family as well.

In the Dallas area, quite a few years back, a woman killed her husband and cooked him up for a family barbque, since he was out of town a lot, no one questioned why he wasn''t home, but a neighbor''s dog dug up his head and dragged it into the yard, when the police got there and questioned everyone, including the wife, she broke down and said he was going to leave her for a younger woman. She killed him in his sleep then preped him for the family cook-out. The WHOLE family, including children, had consumed him, there was nothing left. She had pre-boiled him to pull the meat off his bones, it was a very nasty case. She buried the head in the garden, and packaged the bones in garbage bags that were already picked up a couple of days beforehand. If the dog had not dug up the head, she probably would have gotten away with it. She told the police right in front of the family that they ate him for dinner, I can imagine how that one went over. YUCK, bet they are all veggetarians now.

There must be a way to blame this on Bush/Cheney!

Don''t worry, someone will try. Remember, though, they''ll tell you this guy''s innocent until proven guilty in a court of law - like the Guantanamo terrorists - and therefore should be treated accordingly. Then, in the next sentence, they''ll tell you that Bush/Cheney are already war criminals, already tried and convicted in their minds of murder, treason, genocide, multi-billion $ thefts, and otherwise ruining the world. Go figure.
