Are you kidding me? You obviously don''t know your country very well because that is exactly what they do. Every idiot in America can get a gun. The fact that YOU have a gun proves my point. There are a million nutcases out there that have gotten them legally. Just because you are not on the nutcase list doesn''t mean you ain''t a nutcase. Also in some states children age 14 can get them legally. AND children of any age in some states can get them with a parents written permission.

ok look at it this way schoolord, if another country invades the US. (highly unlikely)but just in case,I am sure when all the chaos was going on guns,tanks in the streets,people getting killed everywhere,you would probably find the nearest dead guy and prop the rifle out of his hands while you were trying to get your family to safety..your instincts of survival would kick in. and you would trust THAT weapon to defend you ,because in that very moment your life and your families life would kinda depend on that right?..I know im right..

schoollord, just because you can live safely in your perfect, peaceful, gun-less home doesn''t mean everybody has that capability. Some people need guns because they live in high crime areas or they may need to defend themselves from non-human entities (such as rabid critters).

schoollord I would be interested in your source of statistics. Anecdotally, I don''t think suicide rate has much to do with guns although they make the guy/gal a little more efficient at it. I also would question the crime prevention figures simply because I and the individuals I know would never report an event if no one actually got shot.
As for the guy in the news, I live a few miles away and, yeah, drugs are plentiful. It seems meth labs are popping up like daisies. I really don''t care what his excuse is, the punishment should fit the crime. I am pretty negative toward "hate-crime" legislation because I do not see why a crime simliar to this that qualified as a "hate crime" should get a diffrent sentence than this one gets.

Who says white people, or people of ANY COLOR cant be lynched? Hanging was the preferred method of death, for many many years...and has NOTHING to do with any paricular race. People were hung in gallows, in a very public ceremony, then left there, hanging for a few days, as a detterant to others, who might choose to commit serious crimes in that town. Has no racial basis what so ever, if you know much about history. Just because recent events have been implied to a couple racially motivated things toward black people, doesnt make it racial motivation by any means.

He''s definitely one sick pup but being called insane isn''t absolution from limit setting. That''s a right wing talking point used against "liberals". Safety is the key factor for society. Society can only be safe not allowing individuals such as this intermingle with the broader mainstream functioning society.
