If you can provide a soure to refute the CLAIMS MADE BY the POLICE, you know the COPS, then please do so, but do not accuse it of being Christian myths when these are documented facts!

Unbelievable! You''''re defending Satanism!

Pretty sick stuff buddy! Pretty sick stuff.

Posted by singinrick: sigh. I DID provide a link to the source I cited. Please read it.

and why do you keep referring to me as a "buddy" after I''ve told you I''m a woman? Is that the Christian way?

I''ll defend the right of anyone to practice their religion..even you. What are you doing in this country if you don''t believe in freedom of religion?

singinrick: You wouldn''t know a credible source if it bit you on the leg. You have every right to believe whatever you want, but you do not have the right to impose your RELIGION in our laws. And in the interersts of time, I''ll say it once again in case you forgot. Atheism is not a religion, and homosexuality is not a religion. Speaking out is not the same as legislating laws. Speak out all you want, but keep your RELIGION out of our LAWS.

singinrick : I was raised as a Presbyterian, I taught vacation bible school, my mother was a sunday school teacher, I was in the church choir, and I was the church secretary. I know what a real christian is, and over the last few decades, I''ve seen the christian faith turn into something ugly. I don''t need a book to tell me right from wrong. The bible has been used by bigots across the centuries to enslave, murder, and oppress. You are no different than your predecessors. You hate Satanists, yet you have no idea what they actually do. The "Satan" they refer to is not the same supernatural being christians call Satan, but that doesn''t matter to you, you just want to hate them.

-No CHRISTIANS do such things.

Your problem is you look at a Christian from a Worldview, and not a Biblical view.

If you would actually pick up a Bible and read the gospels for once, you would see that we''''re not told as Christians to do such wicked things you have mentioned.

But you''''re not interested in truth, only propoganda and the worldview of things.

There''''s a reason why the Bible tells us Christians that we are not to conform to the ways of the world.

singinrick: What gives you the right to say who is a christian and who isn''t? I know plenty of Christians that would say YOU''RE not a true christian. You sure are full of yourself.

singinrick: my grand-aunt and her partner were together for 60 years. You don''t know what you''re talking about, and your sources are biased. You don''t know the difference between private property and public, you don''t know the difference between "speaking out" and passing laws. You can''t answer a simple question in support of your position without invoking a book. People can say anything in a book, rick. Writing something down doesn''t make it the truth. good grief, H. sapines evolved with a brain, why don''t you use yours?

personnel, and others. In the early 1980''s, Kenneth V. Lanning of the FBI''s Behavioral Science Unit in Quantico, VA started to follow the escalating reports of Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA). He became convinced that SRA was non-existent (or almost so), largely because of the lack of hard evidence that any crimes had actually occurred. A second indicator was that a conspiracy of the magnitude necessary to support large scale SRA could not remain secret for long. He documented his conclusions in a report in 1992 titled "Investigator''s Guide to Allegations of ''Ritual'' Child Abuse. By the middle of the 1990s, most of law enforcement had become very skeptical of the existence of SRA. Only a few -- commonly called "cult cops" -- remain as true SRA believers today."

"Satanism and the Police:
A series of Satanic Panics swept North America in the 1980s and 1990s. Satanists were accused of kidnapping, killing, and even eating infants and children. Estimates of 50,000 ritual murders per year were common. Many in law enforcement were initially convinced that a secret, underground, multi-generational, international cult of Satanists were perpetrating horrendous crime on an enormous scale; they were literally getting away with mass murder. Some police officers became alarmed. They devoted enormous effort in an unsuccessful effort to track down those believed to be responsible. They were unsuccessful because the crimes never happened. Satanic ritual abuse "experts" began giving seminars to social workers, law enforcement

-Don''''t know what planet you''''re living on, but this doesn''''t occur in the Christian community I know.

But I know your methods, you''''re all mad that I''''ve pointed out some facts about satanism, so your method of refuting them is to attack Christianity with lies instead.

Same old same old, different day of the week.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

singinrick : I was using an extreme example of people that call themselves christians, just as you''re doing with people that pretend to be satanists. One of my classes this spring is Paganism and Witchcraft in North America. Satanists do not practice human sacrifice, that is a myth, and one that is being perpetuated out of ignorance primarily by christians.

ROTFLMFAO!!!!!! That website has less credibility then Karl Rove!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!

-Gee, I almost forgot. The only websites that are credible are the ones that SgtRDS deems credible.

Only what you determine is credible stands.

This is a typical attitude of atheists who are afraid of truth.

singinrick: A credible source is one you could cite in a college paper. You''re using snake oil sales sites to support your distraction.

So answer my question, do you think the first sentence of the first amendment should be ignored?
