And there are also times where I just sit back and read the back-and-forth posts between folks like "poopusbuttus" versus "Feelfree1", or "j-whitman" against "speakinup"... and the like.

I don''''t think many people read them, all the way thru.

I''ll keep that in mind. Thanks.
Next time I see "Oakishpines" I''ll take a good look at his (or her) posts.
CBSnews.com may not have the largest collection of news on their site. I''ve noticed many good news stories on Yahoo or Google that never comes across here.

Well,,They did run around in circles. And obviously that was a problem..He got deep,,and back to where he started from.
Of course,,I don''t consider myself to be an expert.
But,,interested in the art of poetry.
Poetry should read like a story,,a beginning,,a middle..and an end.
His (oakishpines) started,,then circled to the middle,,,then to the start.
At least that was my interpretation of it all. - Reply to this comment

- I think oakishpines poetry was ok in a different setting, but all it did here was intigate spates of vulgarity which I didn''''t need. he/she used several names and showed talent, it was just misplaced here.

Of course,,I said the same,,at times it didn''t belong here. - Reply to this comment

Well, I have quoted famous people before... but unlike Lars... my quotes actually fit the context of the subject at hand... and I didn''t use them to instigate hatred toward any group or people.
As for snidegrass...
...I found out that he was in his late 80s or early 90s. His writings were abstract (to say the least) but were far from moronic. In fact, only someone with either significant life experience or a learned individual could write like snidegrass did.
