I refer to my earlier post

Serious question. Two countries where gun ownership is common - the USA and Switzerland. Murder in Switzerland - low. Murder rate in the US - high. Why???

schoollord, I have owned and collected guns for many years and never have any of them harmed me or anyone else.
Are mine defective?
I will gladly turn them all in and get rid of my whole collection, the minute all criminals, police officers, and military soldiers give up all their guns.
Deal?

Why, yes I am, thanks for asking. What do you think?
I guess it''s a bit late to holler,"THE BRITISH ARE COMING."

"You could add up all the types of weapons and methods you could think of, probably millions, and guns are used to kill more Americans than all of them COMBINED!~

Brit, I was out of line with that comment. My apologies. I hit publish too quick.

I refer to the disarming of British citizens per my comment. I don''t mean to offend.

"Hwy71So - I''''d find it very difficult to kill 38 people with a tire iron - come on, get real - it''''s a hell of a lot easier to use a gun.

No, that would be a lot easier to buy a bag of fertilizer and a recipe. How did Cain kill Abel? He sure didn''t use a gun. Murder will happen with or without a firearm. Your British blood is showing.

It is obvious to anyone with basic skills in logic that eliminating guns is "a good thing". However, to eliminate guns using guns is sheer hypocrisy.

The (currently delusional) anti-gun lobby should start with disarming all police and military worldwide. Murder-fetishes are all too common in those occupations. Only then are ordinary citizens ready to phase out their one and only protection from government excess.
