Serious question. Two countries where gun ownership is common - the USA and Switzerland. Murder in Switzerland - low. Murder rate in the US - high. Why??? - Reply to this comment
- schoollord, I have owned and collected guns for many years and never have any of them harmed me or anyone else.
Are mine defective?
I will gladly turn them all in and get rid of my whole collection, the minute all criminals, police officers, and military soldiers give up all their guns.
Deal? - Reply to this comment

- Brit, I was out of line with that comment. My apologies. I hit publish too quick.

No, that would be a lot easier to buy a bag of fertilizer and a recipe. How did Cain kill Abel? He sure didn''t use a gun. Murder will happen with or without a firearm. Your British blood is showing. - Reply to this comment
- It is obvious to anyone with basic skills in logic that eliminating guns is "a good thing". However, to eliminate guns using guns is sheer hypocrisy.
The (currently delusional) anti-gun lobby should start with disarming all police and military worldwide. Murder-fetishes are all too common in those occupations. Only then are ordinary citizens ready to phase out their one and only protection from government excess. - Reply to this comment
