The Attorney General of the United States has just sanctified the destruction of evidence and covered up acts of torture against innocent people.

Yes, the libs lost again.

And so did every American who believes in the rule of law, transparent government and the innate morality of American values.

No surprise here! Bush got him in, let the deceit and lies continue! Anyone with half a brain knew this guy was not bipartisan. Which is why the House Intelligence Committee will continue its investigation-- good for them.

As stated here, another Bush lackey=never served a minute in any branch of the armed service--has that "scare em" sneer on his face.

Another White House empty suit!!!!

"I am aware of no facts at present to suggest that department attorneys cannot conduct this inquiry in an impartial manner," Mukasey wrote Friday

To be expected from a Bush lackey. Another sad day for American democracy (can we even say we are a democracy anymore?).

Please let this Presidency end soon before any more innocent Constitutions are hurt.

This is the kind of thing we can expect from any Bush appointee. Obstruct, stonewall, refuse, even lie...They have no respect for anyone and offer only flagrant contempt for any point of view other than the hypocritical rhetoric pouring out of the White House.

That has been the status quo since we entered Iraq. Across the aisle we voted to go. Dems cut ranks and proclaimed if we ever take Congress, all will change. They are running Congress and aside from posturing, continue to support the war. Don''t let them fool you, they are just as supportive of whats going on.

The videotapes were made in 2002.

And the Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi, were briefed fully at that time regarding the CIA''s use of waterboarding as a means to get information from terrorists.

And now the Democrats want to pretend that they never knew anything about it...
