What the PEOPLE want never seems to matter to you folks. It''s been that way since the very begining, you folks just do NOT want the PEOPLE to decide what is or isn''t law in this country. Why LIE about it as well. When we return to the ways of our fathers, the Greatest Generation, when the well being of the average Working Stiff matters more, we will start to correct some of the terrible wrongs of "Trickle Down".

Republicans you may have won the battle but the storm that is brewing and the war is yet to be fought in the final hours before you lose more seat in the senate and house remember this bill.

This only one of the reasons you lost power in 2006. Your arrogances like in 1954 with McCarthy will destroy you in end.

Good Christan values coming for the family value party of god right wing nuts bent on war and destruction. Rot in hell.

Why are people praising expanding a CHILDREN''''S health bill so that it provides benefits to ADULTS?

Why are people praising a children''''s health bill that will let families that can afford health care get free health care from our tax dollars?

This bill should NEVER have been brought through Congress. It is BAD thinking, BAD entitelments, and would be BAD law!

This is how the lie is kept going someone repeats it who has not read the law. All laws made by man will have flaws that is in our nature. However, this law does not provide heath care for adults and even if it did it would still be worth it so go read the law before you shoot off your mouth. Must be a Greed over Principle (GOP) bush bot.

Let us now change the health insurance for our elected people in Washington DC ~ including the president and the vice president. Perhaps , then, the bill would not be vetoed. And , OH YES, let''s also change their retirement benefits. And, OH YES, let''s outlaw the hiring by lobbyists of all the retired legislators. Why not just suspend lobbyism for awhile and give our democracy a chance.

I''ve come to the conclusion that Democrats and Republicans (in their secret meeting chambers!) really just want a Democratic congress without enough votes to override a Republican presidential veto. And Republicans want control of the White House with someone just a little less stupid than Bush--so don''t look for Mike or John or Rudy.Huckabee or McCain. That way the true political power in Washington (the Democrat and Republican power broker elite) gets what it wants: lots of money for business, particularly the military/industrial businesses, with the taxpayers footing the bills and, with the aid of "credit" businesses, privatizing education and health to the point where the next generation if not the next two generations will be in debt for all of their lives.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY. THIS PRESIDENT IS LIKE A SCHOOL YARD BULLY, YOU DO IT MY WAY, OR I''LL TAKE MY BALL AND GO HOME. BUSH HAS USED (ABUSED) HIS VETO POWER SEVEN TIMES, SIX, SINCE THE DEMOCRATS TOOK CONTROLL OF CONGRESS. THAT FACT IN IT SELF TELLS THE STORY.

MR. BUSH, CAN FIND 35 BILLION FOR AID''S RELIEF FOR AFRICA,( HIS DAUGHTER''S PET PEA,) BUT NOT FOR AMERICAN CHILDREN.

IT''S TIME FOR AMERICA TO VETO THIS BULLY.........

Rather than providing funds to cover the healthcare of the adult children of Americans who can afford to pay their own premiums and providing unlimited foreign aid to an Iraqi government that can''t meet its benchmarks or reconcile among its factions, we should be increasing funding for the care of our injured vets and increasing vets pay and benefits.

IF BUSH AND THE REPIGS KEEP STOPPING IT THEN AMERICA NEEDS TO DRAG THEM FROM THEIR OFFICES PUT THEM ON A BOAT AND EXILE THEM BACK TO THE MIDDLE EAST WHERE THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM SENDING OTHER PEOPLES CHILDREN!

IF AMERICA PUTS UP WITH THIS THEN AMERICA DESERVES WHAT IT GETS!

Finally...

It is unfortunate for those of you who are against this bill.

- You are either uneducated about this bill (which I hope I solved to some degree).

- Or, you are self-centered and lack any empathy to those who have less than you... who struggle to just keep a roof over their head (especially in today''s mortgage/housing crisis) and keep their children healthy... which is the crux of this bill.

So if you still insist on ignoring the health care crisis facing our nation, and the biggest victims of the crisis, (being the children), and you still insist that YOUR tax dollars should NOT be spent on this program...

...then there is absolutely no help for you. None. It is then very clear that caring, empathy, understanding, and compassion... are words that are not in your vocabulary.

I hope and pray for you, as there is nothing left that can be done.

(Part 2 of 2)

So the myth that this would all of the sudden cause the Government to take over our health care is a bunch of bull ****** (as usual). Living anywhere near the big cities in either California, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, and so on... you would realize that raising a family on a total annual income of $83,000 (or less) is extremely challenging... and attempting to afford health care within that income range is nearly impossible!

The $35 billion increase in government spending, (in relation to the spending Bush has achieved in the past 6+ years), is minimal especially considering the good it will provide millions of AMERICAN CITIZENS, especially for the long term. There are times when the government needs to spend our taxpayers money... and that time is for the health of our children which will help them be healthier adults in the later years (which will ultimately save us all a lot of money).

Bush does not mind asking for 200 Billion more for war, but has a problem giving funds to the people of the United States? What is even worse is this weak Congress will go along with it.

SCHIP explained simply... (Part 1 of 2)

SCHIP is designed, not for the "poor", but for the middle class who have an annual income above the meager cap of Medicare, but not high enough to afford health care insurance for their children.

The bill, which is widely supported by all by the most inconsiderate and self-centered Americans in this country, would increase the income cap to $83,000 which would cover the states with the higher cost of living standards, (California, New York, etc.).

SCHIP would still be administered by the STATES (hence the "S" in SCHIP). Thus, the income regulations will be judged on a state-by-state basis. Obviously, Texas would not need to accept a family making $83,000 a year because that is well above the median income in virtually all areas of that state where affording health care, privately, is far less of a burden than someone living in California or New York.

States such as California and New York with higher costs of living, would be able to accept more families with children into the SCHIP program, whom were neither able to qualify for Medicare and certainly could not afford health care insurance privately.

If it''s true that the president, vp, congress and senate are employees of the people can someone tell me why they have socialized medicine FREE and the taxpayer picks up the bill? I have never heard of an employee having better insurance than the employer.

I had been wavering on a very good Republican for Congress and a good but solid Democratic opponent in my District. This SCHIP affair just made up my mind. No matter what, I will be voting straight Democratic next election and so will anyone else who I can advise.

Wouldn''t it be great if any AMERICAN could at any time call the whitehouse and let Shrubbie and his pal stubbie dikk cheese know how you actually felt? How concerned you were that they were NOT doing the Will of the AMERICAN people? That would be so cool, sending email is worthless because you only get an automatic response that basically says "your wants, needs & concerns have been placed in the electronic circular file". Can''t wait to read shrubbie''s & lil'' dikks upcoming book entitled, with them on the cover pointing to each other, "I''m with Stupid".
