See, I tried to get Americans to work in the fields when I was working for welfare. But, they realized that if they did, they would lose benefits including health care. So no, they wouldn''''t leave welfare to work the fields.

Of course they wouldn''t. There is NO incentive for them to get off welfare. Unfortunately, as you say, few jobs offer enough benefits to compensate for what they would lose. That is why workfare is a good idea, they keep the checks and benefits, but have to work for them on govt projects.

Oh boy, throw that racist label hard. Rudy, common sense (which is apparently lacking in you) shows that too much of anything can cause problems. If you put too much air in a balloon it will burst, if you put too much water in a bucket, it will spill. If we are to legitimacize those illegals here, as you desire, we will need to at least dampen down somewhere. So which do you prefer, the illegals or those attempting through legally set requirements to reach America?

You are right, just like businesses, restaurants, theaters and other domains there is usually a legal Occupancy Limit Posted for fire safety and other safety reasons, you see them all the time, "Not To Exceed 50 People". The U.S. itself has safety limits too! If there are not enough resources and services available to support the existing occupants, the U.S. can''t keep allowing millions of illegals to overwhelm and flood the system, its unsafe!

Not at all, racism seeks to deny power and/or benefits to any group of people, whether that be ethnicity or national origin. Racism is the drive behind people on this blog calling Latinos beaners. Racism is what is behind the statements that they are the cause of most crime (something I hear about African Americans when it suits them as well). Racism is the reason people on this blog actually oppose all immigration. Racism is the reason that while they want the illegals gone, they want the status quo of low wages and no benefits to be maintained.

But here is food for thought, the Chinese believe the number 44 is an extremely bad number, as the syllable for 4 also means "death". We may not share such a belief, but if you own a property with that address, it is almost impossible to sell it, and since all people react to it that way, it becomes a bad number in reality.

To exclue/include, harrass, attack, discriminate against/for based upon their racial heritage. If race does not exist, then racism can not, by your logic.
