No, you haven''t. You may think you have, but you haven''t.

I wish you luck in your career. Looks like you''re going to need it.

I don''t know too much of the background of this case but it seems like a pretty extreme reaction by the young girl when she could''ve just turned off her computer. That said, I don''t know the content of the messages and more importantly I do remember very well that when you are 13 years old, even very small things seem enormous and teenage angst can be very isolating. Most come through ok but if this poor girl already had a predisposition to depression and/or other psychiatric illness then that too was clearly a factor in her suicide.

I just read the blog that Lori Drew wrote in her defense. Wow...if that is supposed to be her defense written in her own words...she just dug herself a deeper hole. To me, her blog made her sound even worse then the media did....what a hateful woman!

btw the blog is: meganhaditcoming.blogspot.com

Teenage suicide occurs too often. Taunting should never push anyone over the edge. She should have been getting psychiatric care. She must have been masking her illness well for her parents to not be aware of her suicidal thinking. Bullying and taunting also cause murderous thought and action by the victims: school and mall shootings...should we prosecute those who taunted and bullied the Columbine killers? Maybe we should prosecute the bullies and their parents - a form of hate crime.

"Anyone criticizing the mother of the dead 13 year old - how in the he11 do YOU know what that mother "allowed"?? Kids sneak all kinds of things. You have no idea whatsoever what kind of reltaionship they had, or what kind of rules were in place in that home. You sound stupid judging someone you have no facts about at all. "

She was just on 20/20 telling what she allowed.

PS ReginaRegina, since you already seem to think you''ve got it all figured out and since I think you don''t have any idea what you''re talking about I don''t see the point of you continuing to insist that you''re right . . . I''m already points I''ve made two or three times - not much more to say . . .

ReginaRegina, you''ve acted as trier of fact (after presenting additional facts into ''evidence'') and argued your case as if it''s a question of fact assuming there''s no question of law. I''ve presented a case raising a question of law. What are you, a legal secretary who tags evidence for a personal injury firm? You''re not a paralegal because then you''d have done legal research.

Look, you can disagree with my claim that a case COULD be made to find the Drew woman guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, but just because you haven''t addressed the question of law and have just treated the case as a question of fact and have acted as a trier of fact does not mean you''ve addressed the question of law or shown that you have any knowledge of the law whatsoever.

All you''ve shown is that you have an opinion just like the rest of us, only unlike the rest of us you think only yours is ''right'' or ''valid'' for apparently no reason whatsoever.

In the end, this won''''t be about the 13 year old girl, it will be about a town, driven psychomad with hysteria and acting out vigilante style. It will be a modern day hysterical witch burning. Someone will get hurt or killed because a lot of people are, by nature, violent. This is the perfect opportunity for the sick and violent people of that community to act with immunity to judgement over thier own bad behavior.

What that mother and daughter allegedly did might have been rotten, but what that town is doing is CLEARLY wrong. If the mother did what she is being blamed for doing, psychologically torturing a 13 year old kid (when kids are 13, insecurity is what they''re about) then she is sick and in need of some major therapy, not death threats, vandalism and harrassment. Yeah, they were very cruel to a kid who couldn''t take it, but death and injury by vigilantes is worse than the internet deed.

Anyone criticizing the mother of the dead 13 year old - how in the he11 do YOU know what that mother "allowed"?? Kids sneak all kinds of things. You have no idea whatsoever what kind of reltaionship they had, or what kind of rules were in place in that home. You sound stupid judging someone you have no facts about at all.
