Here''s how desensitized we have become to these shootings in the last 20 years.

In 1984, 21 people were shot dead in a McDonalds Restaurant in San Diego California, Afterward, they tore the building down and replaced it with a memorial to the massacre victims, consisting of 21 hexagonal granite pillars ranging in height from one to six feet.

I bet this mall is open for business just as soon as they mop the floor and plug the holes in the walls.

V_161877,

You sound like your one of those poor ugly kids that didn''t get his piece of a$$ in highschool, blaming society for your shortcomings.

Let see: "V" may equal Vic and 161877 may be his birth-date. If so, this guy is 30 years old!!

Ever see that anti-pot commercial where the two 30 year olds are smoking a joint in a bedroom and talking about how they have been toking for 15 years and haven''t changed a bit, then one of their mothers shouts from a room below, "Johnny, have you looked for a job today!!"

Then the anouncer says "Don''t let Pot not change you too"

This guys post reminds me of that commercial for some reason.

MAYBE he was just an IDIOT.

So you are saying that private citizens have no business to vote, lobby, etc? Is that what you are saying. Since I am in the private sector I shouldn''''t concern myself with government?
Posted by mudrose

Modrose, As a "private citizen" in the "private sector" you aught to be able to say anything you want, vote anyway you want, concern yourself with anything you want. The word you tried to bury in your statement is "Lobby". Lobbying is "The Private $ector Influencing Government" (which is the only influence the Repulicans, and too many Democrates respond to)

My point is how can you smile while your government is owned by the private sector through lobbying cash and, with a straight face, say that government has no business in the private sector.

Oh yeah, I forgot, you drank the cool-aid.

United.

That''s the states where this happens.

It''s not just one area, and you left several states off your list there, being selectively ignorant as usual.

And I told him before that it''''s not society that is ruining our children it''''s the parents. Either they are neglecting the children or they''''re giving their children $100,000 cars. What parents need to teach their children is humility and respecting others differences. Teaching our daughters that it''''s trashy to walk around with you breast hanging out, belly showing, pants barely covering their butts and our sons that it''''s not about what he owns that makes him a man. Maybe when parents start taking responsiblity for their role in their childrens lives, we''''ll stop having our kids killing each other.

Well then maybe we should tell the ACLU to stay out of the family with their petitions for abolishing parental controls. Maybe then, we can let the parents control their children without interference from the government. If the government thinks that the schools should give out birth control and condoms then the school should also be able to discipline the children as well and if the school can''t manage they just turn them over to the government since the Government likes to tell parents what to do.

Some kids have problems. Our judical system is fantastic, NOT! This kid had problems but nobody seemed to want to really help him or care.

It''s bad enough this child didn''t get the help he needed in time but it''s deplorable that (again) the media promotes his need for fame. Bold printing his comment is like pouring gasoline on a fire. Gee, thanks Media, you''re sure to inspire others.

V_161877,

So now it''''''''s a womens fault that this kid shot up the mall. Just like it''''''''s Eve''''''''s fault for bringing sin into the world. Let''''''''s just all blame women, they''''''''re inferior to a man. They''''''''re tinier and weaker, so that makes them more stupid. Let''''''''s just put ''''''''em all back into the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant.

I believe he''''s attributing our woes to a society that is too foot loose and lacking in morality. And as far as the other moron on this site with his **** *********, if the person is a foreigner, he''''s showing a fair command of the English language, better than some "undocumented" Americans who don''''t speak English at all.

Chucksta2, you are awesome. Nobody on this forum has nailed it better than you. You''re 100% right when you say "If we would keep these a$$holes names'''' anonymous, and stop digging so deep into their psychological and personal history, maybe the next guy might just shoot himself in his bedroom while listening to the cure instead of trying to rack up an impressive body count first. " Great work.
