According to information, the man who filed the legal suit in June did so against the wishes of his daughter and her mother, both of which identify themselves as Christians.

Therefore Newdow filed his suit under a total false premise in the beginning of this issue. He is pathetic.

So!! If one atheist decides that churches infringe on his rights to nt be exposed to religion, then all churches must be torn down, What ever happened to paying no attention to the symbols and living your life your way and allowing Christians (which outnumber you) to have their symbols where they can see them. You don''''t like the words on money, use plastic instead. you don''''t want to pledge Allegiance to GOD when you do to the flag, well don''''t. you don''''t ''''have'''' to say "under GOD" if you are going to have to lie to do it.

I''ll fully endorse your statement. Mr. Newdow seems to be just another loser who blames God for his troubles

What I would like to know is who is paying for this waste of court time to amend the constitution and or the pledge of allegiance? I doubt if mr. newdow could afford the huge expenses involved, and once again the taxpayer will foot the bill to appease the fanatical minority

If only One Nation Under God was removed from the pledge and In God we trust was removed from our currency we would all live in harmony. People like Newdon do more to divide this country. Fact.

McVet, I was born in 58. My Grandfather fought with Patton during WW11. My Father fought during the Korean War. My Son-in-law is a pilot in the Navy. He was on deployment in Bahrain when 911 happened. He has been on numerous deployments since then. My father is a retired battalion Chief of the D.C. Fire department born and raised in the district. I have seen a lot of changes in this country. I still say people like Newdon do more to harm and devide this country than people that uphold Judeo-Christian values.

One nation under God and In God we trust does not exclude anyone. People like Newdon do more to divide this country than those phrases ever have.
