- I will never forget how in 1992 the police actually refused to help shop owners who were stuck in their businesses and surrounded by angry mobs of homicidal maniacs.
Luckily one of those Korean store owners had a gun shop, and they successfully used semi-automatic "assault weapons" to protect themselves and save their businesses from being destroyed by hundreds of violent looters.
