This from the UN, the organization that will stop at nothing to demean the US. Now, what countries do they have on councils?? The worse of the worse. As for tasering, one would think shooting to be a bit more severe. Then again, according to the likes of kerry, we must go through the UN for everything. Frankly I think they should move to Venezuela. Now, there''s a country loved by penn and the rest of the limo/lear libs. That country is all about civil rights.

..........

Wow!

I was trying to remember all the "Prophet" names this spammer went by. But apparently you have listed them all.

Thanks for trying to get CBS to be proactive about this issue. But just like writing to our government officials...

...clearly there is some underlying agenda (whatever that may be) which is preventing any action from being taken.

I don''t feel the least bit sorry for thieves, rapists, robbers, muggers, murderers, assaulters, and other miscreants who get tasered while they''re being arrested. It may be the only punishment they''ll have to endure, given the state of the American Justice system.

"I do not know much about tasers just saw the police use them on tv on people and if you know can they be adjusted to how much you get tased or are they all that powerful?"

I don''t know if anyone answered your question or not but I think the tasers just have one setting, they can''t be adjusted.

Tasers kill.

Tasers are sometimes used to punish not to protect.

Tasers can be used as a murder weapon.

We have now seen a wave of children killed in tough love ''boot camps'' (one child kicked to death on camera)...they can''t hide all the taser deaths and long term injuries despite law enforcement and corrupt contractors trying to misclassify and lie about the causes of death...Homeland Security kills distraught women in Nevada...

American law enforcement and citizen rights are at a low point...time to fix some deep problems with the us justice system...

MORE TROOPS AND VETERANS SUPPORT RON PAUL
On Veteran''s Day, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul today addressed a crowd of over 5,000 enthusiastic veterans and supporters in Philadelphia. The Veteran''s Day weekend rally took place at Independence Mall. Thousands of veterans and their friends and families heard country music superstar Rockie Lynne open the event for the Texas congressman. John Holland, the founder of a leading advocacy organization for troops, veterans, and POW/MIAs, delivered an enthusiastic endorsement of Congressman Paul, before the congressman addressed the crowd. The rally coincided with the launch of the Veterans for Paul Coalition, a group composed entirely of American war veterans. "Dr. Paul''s support among veterans is extremely high," said Paul campaign spokesman Joe Seehusen. "These great patriots who have fought for our country know that only Dr. Paul''s foreign policy of peace and secure borders can guarantee true national security, and they want him fighting for our country''s freedom." Congressman Paul was himself a Captain in the Air Force who served as a flight surgeon during the "totally unnecessary and illegal" Vietnam war. He receives more campaign contributions from former and active military and military affiliates than all of the other 2008 presidential candidates combined.

You islamic propogandists who post on these American media boards make me sick. Posted by singinrick at 01:40 AM

Why are you so weak that you cannot dialogue with someone to understand a little, while helping them to understand yourself a little? Abdoul had some very kind perspectives, I didn''t agree with everything, but I was able to establish some facts that this individual accepted regarding Israel and their expulsions from other countries, by Muslims and so-called Christians.

The elephant in the room that is not being addressed - the people who would have been killed if a taser was not present as a non-lethal alternative to using lethan force. If pre and post taser deaths aren''''t both being looked at, then this is nonsense. Maybe 6 people died because of the taser - and it''''s entirely possible that it would have been 10 without the option of a taser. Posted by SusanHelit at 01:42 AM

As far as I am concerned they can use their little torture device as long as the situation really calls for it. In the cases that we have already mentioned, it was never necessary. But, too many people just love the idea of it happening to someone else until it happens to them.

Oh, btw, don''t think I didn''t catch your cheap shot about only the criminals and criminally minded being worried about police actions. I just understood it for what it was, a cheap shot from a bootlicker who doesn''t like to answer the question.

The only people who are always worried about the cops are the criminals and the criminally minded. What is more simple minded is to think that every cops are corrupt and every criminal are falsely accussed..

like I said..to think a police officer at this day and age of blood sucking lawyers and liberal media ready for the next scoop..would just walk to a person and taser that said person for the sake of using his tazer is idiotic and childish. Posted by libsluvsuvs at 01:19 AM

I repeat: So no need to worry about the cop being stupid, eh? You probably think they don''t ever get off on power trips, don''t you? Just everyone who has ever gotten tazered, somehow deserved it, right? How simple minded you are.
