Anyone else catch the slip up in that statement?
"...that''s our opportunity to believe that we can sow into a man of God''s life,..."
And that one? Who sows without expecting to reap?
"And secondly, the one Rolls-Royce that was purchased was purchased by the donors, or the members of the church, and it was a surprise to me. I had no idea they were doing it."
So once you found out, you didn''t tell them to use that money for more worthwhile causes, like helping the needy veterans in their neighborhoods?
(of course, think of the sort of people who write books based on voices they hear...) Posted by andor3
Or start wars...
"You have obviously never met a real Christian." Posted by justmeinva
Neither did Jesus...
Maybe if these reporters read the Bible, they''d have an understanding that God owns everything anyway.

I have met several who professed to be such in my lifetime.
The problem is that it''s hard to take seriously an adult who believes in fairy tales.
You have obviously never met a real Christian.
"So why didn''t God write [the bible]?
geez do you know how long that book is? and it is very hard to get computer support in heaven, so his word processor was crashing a lot, so he just told it to some people he could find who would listen. (of course, think of the sort of people who write books based on voices they hear...)
"Why doesn''t God as least hand out copies to people?"
Easy--god is in the sky. If he dropped them from that height they would hurt people trying to catch them. So he just signed a distribution deal.
"Translation: Ignore the man behind that curtain!!!"
which translation: King Jim or Revived Standard Edition?
"...who are you really talking to - God, or everyone who reads the bulletin board?"
I think it is just campaigning: maybe there is going to be an election and whichever god gets the most votes gets to run things for a while. That explains why having a majority god is so important to christians.
AMEN!!!
Just like the dumb people who believe everything they read from the media???
Not saying these people are innocent or guilty because I do not know. But you are sure quick to make your judgement based on a story you read by someone you don''t even know. Funny.
Romans 2:6 He will judge everyone according to what they have done.
Religious: Believe the Bible! It''s the word of God! Naysayers are agents of the Devil (aka "Satan")!
Translation: Ignore the man behind that curtain!!!
So, for those of you who pray on this bulletin board, who are you really talking to - God, or everyone who reads the buletin board?
