LOL Anyway, it''s like this. I live my according to His will. Think of the things happening around us War in the middle east always. Have anyone ever consider that Jerusalem may just be a prototype of something heavenly? all of this is! people think that MAN is just so progressive on our own. NO! by divine right! yes! People can really get thing so literary especially the H(aving)O(nly)L(eft)Y(ou)B(asic)I(nstructions)B(efore)L(eaving)E(arth). I really feel for the state of this nation.

Some live life as if there is no heaven, just to die and find out that there is a hell.

God will have His dealings with corrupt leadership. Ezekiel warns "woe to the shepherds" who, in essence, manipulate the sheep to secure their comfortable lifestyles. These people are "Propheteers", and they will be at the front of the line when judgment begins in the house of the Lord. (I agree with the post a page back that says anyone who accepts a wage for ministry is suspect. Where in the Bible is "professional ministry"?)

Jesus said in the bible that all rich people like most politicians, mega-church preachers, and televangelists will all be going to hell.
I''m no religious nut but it''s still a good excuse to never listen to the rich and so-called powerful!!

First of all, Mr. Dollar is the same man who made the comment "I don''t know about yall, but I can serve God better rich than I can poor" on his broadcast, so I''m not really believing anything that comes from his mouth. Financial status shouldn''t determine how you serve God! Jesus didn''t have a place to lay his head at night, but that didn''t stop Him from paying redemption''s price. It''s sad to say, but true: God is going to pull the covers from these so called "men of God" and show them to be exactly what they are: money grubbers! There is not gospel of prosperity. There is the gosepl, pure and simple and when you really get your life in line with the Word of God, money is not going to be your main focus. Amen!

Yup- judgment day. See the "Open Letter to Pastor John Hagee" on the internet for more info. This abuse needs to be corrected. It is widespread, and does reflect poorly on all Christians, even the ones who are righteous. I hope the Senator presses on to completion.

I''ve got an idea - why don''t we simply see what JESUS said about all of this in the BIBLE!

"...I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
-- Jesus(Matthew 19:24, Mark 10:24-25, Luke 18:24-25)

Mark 10:24-25

Oops. I thought that preacher was defending deficit spending. Instead, he''s defending how preachers spend the money that''s donated to them. If a preacher''s followers don''t like how the money they donate is spent, then, they can just stop donating.

Romans 13:8 states: "Owe no man any thing...." That preacher needs to reconsider his view.

Shalom Beloved,

I will first say to the person(s) ready to envoke God....Remember His word, "Touch not my anointed and do thy Prophets no harm."
Think of the Bible also when it says beware of false prophets. Some are only fulfilling the prophecies. So we should not worry ourselves with how they spend the monies. Just be a cheerful giver, and You be bless. But I do get fired up when people like Joyce Meyers are subject to this kind of mess, and pray that God stand before; them that are righteous in their works, to just how amazing HE truly is and to become a testimony for them and the congregations

No Weapon Formed against ME Shall Prosper.

There is a lot of vitriol here towards preachers and churches. Any minister has to pay taxes on his income just like all other Americans. If a Rolls Royce or a Volkswagen is giving to hi by his church, he has to pay tax on the gift as though income. Because these guys (& girls) travel 150,000 miles annually, their corporations sometimes purchase jets which are deductible expenses just as with ANY corporation.

Most universities and hospitals were started by churches. Many still carry name of St. Dominick''s or Methodist, etc. Why the hatred toward Christian churches? And why are only 6 non-denominational leaders selected when the cardinals and bishops of the Catholic Church live here in America in opulence with mansions decorated with artwork costing in the millions?

People you are crazy if you think that these televangelist are for Jesus, Jesus did not even have a place to lay his head, he walked this world preaching and teaching, he was a Servant, not a taker, Joyce Meyer and all her kids live in a Multi-millon dollar mansions, (her daughter did not like hers they tore it down and built her a bigger one) they are gaining this world in the Name of Jesus, They should be ashamed and so should the people that give to them, if you are giving money to get money(expecting it back) then you are just wasting your time, Juanita Bynum said she was born to be a Billonaire, well she is probably living her heaven here on earth, read this link, http://www.inplainsite.org/html/tele-evangelist_lifestyles.html it tells you all about those people!

Jesus fish and singing Awesome God while totally ignoring Christ''''s teachings does NOT make someone a Christian. Posted by mennowoman

Telling other people how to live their lives while you indulge in all the vices against which you preach . . . that is what makes someone a Christian, at least in this country.

They are all a bunch of crooks. God never asks for money. God doesn''t care if you honor him in your own home or in a church.

I know many people who can quote chapter and verse--but don''t ask them what it means--they have just memorized it.

They have the biggest houses, nicest cars-I don''t think they shop much at Walmart for clothes either.

We DO NOT or EVER HAD TO pay to pray!!!

Jesus--God--Allah--Mohammed---they don''t have any need for money--thats what the Bible-Koran or whatever religous reading material is for!

Any and all organized religions will ask for money, and the leaders of those religions live better than any one of us-so obviously--God ain''t getting much of that--perhaps a mighty "thank you" from the church leader!
