Iceman, I recommend that you brush up on history, specifically WWII.

It was the Russians, and not the US who ended Hitler''s reign of terror. The US, Frogs, Brits, et al only cleaned up the mess in the backyard.

C''mon guy.

How do you know where he is ?

And where was Bush after the 9/11 attacks ? Hiding in Nebraska under much heavier guard than Osama could command.

H*ell, when Bush flew to Nebraska, Air Force One had jet fighter escort, just in case the dreaded al Qaeda
air force appeared in the distance.

What does that make Bush ?

Sarge? I agree completely but is this a clear very lame attempt to link a confererate flag with our VP for political gain or not?

Posted by didntinhale at 07:46 PM : Oct 30, 2007

Possibly. But one who holds such a position has to be careful where he goes and what he does.

For a lot of people, patronizing a businsess that prominently displays the Confederate flag demonstrates that the patron has no problem with it.

Cheney, like Bush, was elected to represent us all and the ones who oppose what the flag stands for should be considered as well.

Stupid move on Cheney''s part any way you look at it.

Did you tell Bush it was a satirical suggestion ?

He doesn"t have the brains to figure that out himself.

Also, for your sake, you"d better not have said it was the suggestion of Iceman_1960 on the CBS News Comments sections.

Because if you did, and I take any heat for it, my lawyer will be taking shots at you in court, whether you"re moving or not.

didntinhale,

With your miniscule attention span I knew you didn"t have the slightest intention, in that challenge, to honor your own terms:

"You Game? You have the first comment I will follow. Fair enough? Dare you to keep the lame personal attacks out of it. Are you capable?..lol I doubt it but give it a try"
- Posted by didntinhale at 06:51 PM : Oct 30, 2007

41 minutes later:

"I knew you were not up to the challenge Ice pu$$y as far as what you refer to as your point You have yet to make it...lmao... Ice queen?"

So he goes to a hunting club....gets drunk off his as*s....gets walked out to the edge of a field...where they throw farm-raised, tame birds in front of him.....and he slaughters them....when he''s not shooting another "hunter".

This is an example of how gutless cowards hunt.......

I smell panic on the part of the liberals.

I love this "truthiness" on the part of right wingers. Their best wishful thinking out front and center. Maybe they think if they repeat this cr*ap over and over again it''ll somehow be true....like they tried with Saddam''s WMD''s......or that Bush has a brain....or that Cheney can shoot....

Al Sharpton is a red herring in this story.

Democrats of all races and backgrounds overwhelmingly rejected Al Sharpton when he ran in the 2004 Democratic primaries.

Rarely did he get above 5% of the vote.(*)

His best showing, 20% in the District of Columbia, was nothing to shout about.

If Republicans had rejected idiot Bush and idiot Cheney as emphatically as Democrats rejected idiot Sharpton, the U.S. would be a lot better off today.

A man who''s vision is so bad he can''t see a flag hanging from the front of a building he enters and exits has no business using a weapon.

If he''d seen it he would have ignored it. His ideal flag has a bent cross on it and is red and black.

Not that I accept cheney being around that flag, although it does represent the culture of some people that WAS ACCAPTABLE at the time and we do fight for cultural significant and remembrance here in America, I wonder if the Rev. Al would have been happier had the flags of African countries been pinned to the garage. Africa is of course one of the LARGEST slave permitting countries in the world what with all the gold and diamond salves pounding those worthless minerals out of the earth. Oh, wait, are those watches and rings that Al wears made from gold that is pulled from the earth by African slaves%u2026..I wonder%u2026%u2026

Most Americans just don''t seem to care that our nation, along with the Constitution upon which it was founded, is being flushed-down the NWO toilet by our nations ruling elite. While Congress and the President warn and insite fear in the sheeple about the prospect of terrorism, they at the same time leave our border wide open, and fund and conduct illegal wars overseas that do nothing but encite the terrorism which their Draconian Laws like the Patriot Act and The Real ID Act pretend to protect us from. Think about it. What would you do, if someone invaded the U.S. for no reason, and took over. You''d be mad as hell, and you''d be making trips to their country in order to give a little payback. Wake up America! It''s not about protecting you from terrorism, or saving our planet from Global Warming, or any of that fear-mongering garbage the tube feeds you 24/7. It''s about feeding the military industrial complex and facilitating the ruling elite''s ability to ratchet-down control over the American people, placing us into a total control grid where they can surveille, track and control everywhere we go and everything we do. It''s the groundwork for totalitarianism. I weep for my country, and for those of you who are so distracted, dumbed-down, or outright brainwashed by mainstream media, which endlessly regurgitates scientifically-crafted streams of information aimed at keeping their eyes closed to the realities of the world around them, that they fail to recognize this. Go Ron Paul!.

"Which came first, Hunting or Agriculture?"
- Posted by jn122736 at 07:07 PM : Oct 30, 2007

I guess hunting did, but more to the point, man"s evolution didn"t stop there.

There are numerous species for whom "hunting is fun-damental," and they never evolved to where the human race is. Some of them are not much higher up the evolutionary ladder than slugs and earthworms.

Scientists have discovered that the human life span was very short before the widespread practice of agriculture.

Rather than celebrate and glory in hunting, a practice our ancestors shared with the hyena and the cobra, why not emphasize the practice that set them apart, systematic and increasingly scientific agriculture ?

I wouldn''t worry about it-Cheney isn''t interested to the Confederate flag anymore than he''s interested in the American flag--he plans on creating his own.
