My thoughts on UFOs:

I don''t know. I don''t think I''ve ever really seen a UFO, though I have seen things I couldn''t identify at the time. (And I have seen other things that defy the classical world view.)

This universe is UNBELIVABLY HUGE, so it seems unlikely to the point of absurdity that there is no other intelligent life out there. Though why they would want to come here is beyond me.

Furthermore, current thinking in the fields of physics and cosmology indicate that this universe is simply one among an infinite number of alternate universes. The odds of this being the ONLY world in the ONLY universe with "intelligent" life on it are just so low as to be unthinkable.

But, if it makes you feel "special", and if that special feeling lets you get to sleep at night, go ahead and believe whatever you like. Just don''t expect anyone else to share your narrow view of life.

The Disclosure Project (www.disclosureproject.org) has a lot of fascinating stuff relating to UFO''s and some other paranormal stuff as well. If you can sift through the bias toward "they''re really out there and it''s being covered up" it all makes a fine and informative read. And, yes, there should be full disclosure.
For what my opinion is worth, UFOs are probably not extraterrestial. The physics behind star formation, planet building, "Goldilocks" zone placement and water availibility preclude life beyond the simple and unicellular on the overwhelming majority of our worlds. Expecting other planets to have the exact conditions necessary to encourage civilizations as curious as we about "what''s out there" is really shooting the moon. We may have company, but there isn''t an awful lot of it.

"Us Christians will never have to change our Truth around"

SinGin, you''re really on a roll today!

The "Christian" "truth" you refer to changes ALL THE TIME. It''s an ever-changing mess of bad translations and phoney interpretations by a priestly class who want to control you, mixed in with slimy politics and greed. The re/tards who did the translations couldn''t get right even VERY BASIC concepts, like "sin"! The word in the Bible that is always translated as "sin" actually means "to miss the mark", like in archery. All the sinners that you''re so worried about are just people with bad aim! Leave them alone!

Sinner Rick,

If Jesus is the "Lord or Lords", then that means there are OTHER Lords. Hmmm...

Sounds kind of like the Mormons! Except they believe that the ONE TRUE GOD is Elohim, and that He is the Father of Satan and Jesus and Jehovah. So that would make Jesus the baby child of the Lord of Lords, wouldn''t it?

Didn''t you say somewhere that you''d happily vote for Mutt Romney, the mormon? Maybe not.

In any case, I''m certain that the average "Christian" believes there is only ONE Lord. They''re so fanatical about it that they don''t like Jews, who don''t believe in Jesus (but they do believe in the same God, Jehovah), and they don''t like Muslims, who believe in Jesus and believe in the same one God, only problem is, they think his name is Allah (which means "The God"). Apparently, these tiny little differences in beliefs matter a great deal to you people. So, I''d be careful about using phrases like, "the Lord of Lords", if I were you.

dovestar, criticising Al Gore for "flying around in private jets" does NOT in any way provide a counter argument to the observation that the world is getting warmer and that human activities contribute to that warming and that we better do something about it soon, or we will really regret it.

Lacking any intelligent counter argument, you repug re/tards fall back on the old standard of trying to slime your opponent by innuendo. That simply adds another layer of proof that you are, in fact, wrong and you know it!

The Sinner is back!

SinGinRick must have been a HUGE SINNER to make him feel it is necessary, or even advisable, to spend his time on these comment boards telling us all about his imaginary friend.

Does it make you feel "more saved", Rick, when you blather on and on about your imaginary lover?

Look up the word "witness" sometime, Rick. It most definitely does NOT mean "to blather on and on about being saved" and it definitely does NOT mean "to try to convert everyone to your way of thinking". To witness is to observe, without being involved. Later on, to witness came to mean "to provide reliable testimony based on what one has witnessed". What you "Christians" are doing is a far cry from what you were instructed to do.

For example, Jesus said you should pray silently, in secret. He said that those who pray loudly, in public, are hypocrites. That pretty much condemns ALL of the current batch of "Christians".

If you knew Jesus (who is dead, BTW, so who is this imaginary friend you''re playing with now?), then you would just ****. The ignorance you spread helps no one, least of all yourself. And you''re going to need a heap of help, buddy!

MORE THAN LIKELY, THE CRASH WAS JUST A NASA FAILURE INVOLVING
DEAD ASTRONAUTS THAT THE US GOVERNMENT, AT THE TIME, WAS,
TOO EMBARRASSED TO ADMIT TO THE PUBLIC OR TO THE SOVIETS.

More logical than anything else on this thread.

So where does it say you cant see a UFO and be a God fearing person. Not sure what the connection is....We all need to try to think out of the box and stop trying always to put someoneone down because they are non-believers or believers. So God could not have created another world in another Galaxy....he did creat the heaven and the earth.... The Bible was written for us on earth...coould there be a chance that maybe God has created others in the never ending space? Open your hearts and stop fearing GOD like we do.....

More than likely, the crash was just a NASA failure involving
dead astronauts that the US Government, at the time, was
too embarrassed to admit to the public or to the Soviets.

YOu know, these UFO''s just might come in handy. People are criticizing Algore for preaching about global warming and he flies around in private jets. Maybe one of those UFO''s will give him a lift...

And while they''re at it take Hillary with them.
