- She won''''t get the death penalty because she''''s a woman. Any man in America would get the death penalty for doing her crime. Posted by shanev137 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shane, she DID get the death penalty so where is my $100?

- mrshyatt, could be. But in general I don''t want blood as much as most people any more. That''s why I think it is good we don''t let the family of the victim decide whether or not to kill the person. It''s like getting into a fight...sometimes its better if someone holds you back from jumping on the other person.

- We need to come up with a substitute for the death penalty.

I agree. The means of execution should be that which the murderer employed against their victim.
In this case, slash her womb open and let her bleed to death.

Everything you were told in church was a lie. It was all about "the offering". - Reply to this comment

- My goodness, are they really going to do this.. don''t tell me that there are still people who want justice. After years and years of people getting away with crime after crime I had come to the conclusion that the innocent people might be better off in Jail it seems safer than living outside...
Here in Australia we have had a few people get off a murder simply because they said that they didn''t intend to kill the person, even though they bashed them to death. hmmm, great defense eh.. so it means that I can kill someone and then say that I didn''t mean to and get off eh...all our states are run by left winged governments and crime has become out of control, and per head of population they try to tell us that it isn''t any worse than 20 years ago... what a laugh... - Reply to this comment
- I hope you are right crzmeat, they shouldn''t have anything like TV or regular visits if they committed murder. We need to come up with a substitute for the death penalty. It''s barbaric and sends the wrong message about the value of life (which most Americans probably don''t give a sh*t about). Ignorance is the biggest problem. Most Americans can''t find Iraq on a map - that is probably not true for the people in this forum I admit. These people think more.
I think the only way to kill someone in a way that is not cruel and unusual would be in a way that completely destroys the body - for some reason they seem to want to preserve the body. Why not drop a 100,000 lbs. concrete slab onto them and splatter them everywhere? At least that goes quickly. Course it seems many people posting here want to torture the person a bit before death. So now we can deter crime with torture. What about the hundreds of people who were released from death row who were later found innocent.
1) it costs too much to kill people
2) killing people who kill people as a punishment sends wrong message about valuing human life or is at least ironic
3) some people are innocent on death row (probably very few but they are out there) - Reply to this comment
- I''m amazed at how selfish people who kill are. How devoid of any knowledge, any care for this world or even their own country.
And to be able to kill without any provocation whatsoever, all this anger where does it come from? Or is it hate? Or maybe they just don''t feel any feelings except when a needle is stuck in them on their execution day.
Some of them sure can act. Wiping her tears after the jury recommended the death penalty. Gimme a break. - Reply to this comment

Like I said, I''ll bet anyone $100 right now, that she will NOT get the DP, only because she''s a woman. - Reply to this comment
