MCVet, why don''t you take your draft-dodging backside and get the hell out of OUR country. Little Nazi-loving piece of slime that you are doesn''t deserve to live in America. You are so eaten up over saying seig heil all the time, take brown-shirt Al Gore and go live of the free health care in Europe, and leave true America at peace. You rant, you troll, you rave, but you have nothing contructive to add to any conversation. - Reply to this comment

- I mean, I see what you goofs are writing about Bush and I laugh. Just to contrast: he believes what he believes about Islamist jihadists and he acts on those beliefs. You call him wrong--fair enough.
Pete Stark saya what he believes--truely believes as uch as Bush believes in himself--and what does Pelosi have him do? He apologizes--he doesn''t act on what he believes. She doesn''t. Hillary doesn''t.
Call me a neocon and I feel proud. Call a liberal a liberal and they change their name to progressive. It is as laughable as anything I can think up to write my songs about. At least check them out--they are authentic in that I use Hillary''s, Kerry''s and others actual voice recordings on some of it. The truth may hurt @

You mean, deceiving the American public is "genius"? Though deceit is typical standard operating procedure for the Bush administration, it is nothing near genius-- though a "heckuva job", nonetheless.
When the Faux FEMA News Scandal broke, Bush staffers at the White House predictably tried to distance themselves, sputtering disclaimers all the way. Apparently, they see only shame in the affair, as they certainly should.
Interestingly, this is exactly what Bush and staffers did at Katrina when people wondered where Brownie had been. Even Bush went around saying the federal effort was "not acceptable". - Reply to this comment

- Wonderful insights from Alpha, or Alfalfa...whatever. I am envisioning a guy who tapes aluminum foil around any window and door creases. Sad.
I am with you George W. and my music tells it like it is about this pathetic Ward Churchill bunch--they plagerize each other, too. Hear the truth these weenies want to keep from you @

- Katrina made Bush look like an idiot. So, Bush was all primed this time-- and had been for months-- to make a public relations spectacular with FEMA at the Next Regularly Scheduled Disaster.
With Schwarzenhoofer at the helm, off they went when the San Diego fires began. Bush arrived much sooner than he had at Katrina (when, ironically enough, he had flown west to San Diego to make a political speech, rather than eastward from Crawford to New Orleans).
However, as at Katrina, Bush chaos was already in charge of the situation. Not only were the planes grounded because Schwarzenbush hadn''''t run through the exercise often enough to work out the kinks in state procedures requiring a fire spotter. The planes were also grounded for a whole day in good weather so Bush could do his public relations appearances. While Bush and FEMA preened and postured, the conflagration grew larger and began to take lives.

When Santa Anna winds began to blow next day, grounding most fire-fighting aircraft, a whole day had been lost to the mission.
But firefighting was clearly never the mission-- Bush was there for public relations. In effect, Bush deprived fireworkers not only of vital time to stem to blaze, but risked lives as well.
But this wasn''''t the end of it. This gang that couldn''''t shoot straight-- you know, the faux, wannabe president who loves a plastic press conference with selected troops and selected questions done over a high-speed videodata link between DC and Iraq-- staged a fake press conference. FEMA announced 15 minutes beforehand to the press, and then filled a room with FEMA staffers pretending to be members of the press, lobbing soft questions for the cameras.
The contempt of Bush and the GOP for this country is exceeded by only their criminal neglect and pathological incompetence. - Reply to this comment
- I agree with Dr. Paul about the issue of illegal immigration. The talk must stop. We must secure our borders now. A nation without secure borders is no nation at all. It makes no sense to fight terrorists abroad when our own front door is left unlocked. Ron Paul has a plan: (1.) Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals. (2.) Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas. (3.) No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That''s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws. (4.) No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules, but taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services. (5.) End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong. (6.) Pass true immigration reform. The current system, and those proposed by ALL other candidates, is incoherent and unfair, and would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country.

- Well, I for one love FoxNews, wanted to go into Afghanistan, wanted to into Iraq, realize Ron Paul is a goofy man, understand that Hillary voted for every aspect of the war including the Patriot Act, understand that Edwards is ''uncomfortable around gay men,'' knows that global warming and global arson are not compatible, understand that we can''t criticize Bush on page 1 for having too many plance in Iraq and then criticize him on page 2 for having too many planes sitting idle (as if anyone really believes that Katrina wasn''t the result of a totally dysfunctional liberal run city, and San Diego had it stuff together), and I don''t mind being called a neo con--I embrace my inner neocon. I understand that Jr. College Poly Sci classes promote the liberal Scrabble, i.e. neocon, faciest, Nazi, war profiteer, et al ( Oh yeah, Track #5 on my music CD is about Ward Churchill.)
So as you get a big kick out of typing swear words about the Prez (such courage, I tell you) we do keep kicking your behinds as you ''misunderestimate'' us. As long as the weenies on this site reflect the left, I look forward to a Repub Prez again! Hear it in song:

- Is anyone really surprised coming from the Bush Administration???? They are all a bunch of lying losers. I blame Nazi Nancy Pelosi for not upholding the law and putting IMPEACHMENT ON THE TABLE FOR BUSH AND CHENEY. Sure looks like to me Pelosi is part of the Bush crimes taking place. I read Pelosi admitted she knew about the spying on Americans as soon as she took ofice. What a traitor.....

- Ron Paul boosters plead his positive points, but Paul is basically a Republican who never endorsed the neocon globalist thinking and money driving Bush.
On the domestic level, however, the distinctions between Bush and Paul get murkier.
For example, both Paul and Bush follow the Grover Norquist view that government is the problem, not the solution. Unfortunately, like most slogans, that doesn''t describe America or the problem.
More to the point, it is a private, not governmental health insurance system which left America behind Cuba in infant mortality and with 47 million of us uninsured as "subprime" risks.
Still believe government is a villain? A private, not public sector mortgage fiasco dropped the DOW 250 points and left 500,000 Americans foreclosed out of their own homes-- all due to fine print and the "wisdom" of the market.
And on the topic of corruption? A huge glut of cash shoved at the private sector has left New Orleans reconstruction woefully behind schedule, with widespread waste and corruption and the city still exposed to the next Katrina. - Reply to this comment
- If he is elected President, Dr. Paul''s will work to abolish the Federal Reserve System as well as the IRS, returning return our country to the Gold Standard. And rather than our current, Personal Income Tax, which he views as unconstitutional, because it''s is a direct tax that is not equally apportioned as the Constitution requires. He beleives that if taxes are raised from private citizens, it should be done as the Constitution DOES require, in the form of a National Sales Tax. Under this form of taxation, the rich and powerful cannot avoid taxes through their artfully-crafted tax shelters. Everyone would be taxed EQUALLY. This system would benefit all of us, creating more individual wealth, and allowing us to make more decisions for ourselves about our lives. Dr. Paul will also work to abolish the Federal Reserve, a group of private banks which loans our government money that they print out of thin air, making each dollar in your pocket worth less. The Fed is run by unelected officials who are not required to be accountable to we the people. Worse, our economy and our very independence as a nation is increasingly in the hands of foreign governments such as China and Saudi Arabia, which finance our runaway spending. If we don''t cut spending now, especially overseas military spending, higher taxes and economic disaster will be our future. The guidelines we need for governing taxation and spending is called the Constitution. Ron Paul has ACTUALLY read it! ronpaullibrary.org

- Ron Paul can win the GOP nomination. If he does, I predict a landslide victory in November of 2008. The oddsmakers in Vegas are currently giving him 6:1 odds to win against Hitlery if he gets the nomination. Romney and the globalist Guliani don''t even have better than a 25:1 chance of winning if they get the GOP nod. All it takes is for formerly apathetic individuals to get off the couch and nominate him in their local Republican primary or caucus process. Political parties are nothing more than tools. Those who read the manual and use the tools properly will win the nomination for their candidate. For the past 20 years, many good people have stayed at home and accepted whatever candidate they let others select for them. This year, those people are learning how to use their vote to bring about positive and long overdue political change in this country. To make a difference, you must participate in the Republican primary election or caucus process in your county, precinct or district. Nothing else matters. If we do this, we win. If not, we lose. The GOP has been suffering from declining participation for decades. Fewer than 20% of registered Republicans have ALL the power because they participate locally. Now the remaining 80% must surge to use their vote as a tool for bringing about positive change. The time to act is now. The time for political revolution has come. The time for Ron Paul is NOW!

- Become part of this 21st Century political revolution and vote for Ron Paul. Get off your couch, put your remote control down, and become active in our nation''s political process. The Neocons, the Socialists and every other special interest group in this country are certainly involved. Therein lies the problem. Instead of being a government of and by the people, as The Founders intended, ours is a government by and for the corporations, political action committees, non-governmental organizations, labor unions, and a plethera of other special interest groups which are permitted to make unlimited campaign contributions, and thereby gain under influence over their political ******. Your average voter knows no such influence. In Congress, Paul is generally admired for his resistance to such influence, and for his lack of ego. They don''t call him Dr. No for no reason. He consistanly votes against pork-barrel spending. In a rice-growing, cattle-ranching district, Paul consistently votes against farm subsidies. In the very district where, on the night of Sept. 8, 1900, a storm destroyed the city of Galveston, leaving 6,000 dead, and where repairs from Hurricane Rita and refugees from Hurricane Katrina continue to exact a toll, he votes against FEMA and flood aid. In a district that is home to many employees of the Johnson Space Center, he votes against financing NASA. That''s a man with Presidential-like integrity and principles. Ron Paul has my vote.
